Unconditionally*ON HOLD*

‘’I want you to hold my hand, and never let it go.’’ Harry whispers to me as he stands up after grabbing my hand. He squeezes mine tight, and I return the flirty favor.

James and Emily had made it back into the room by now. For an hour or so, Harry and I talked about our lives. He didn’t ask what happened to my leg, or my mother. And I sort was glad at the moment.

But yet, I wanted him to know..

“Dovie.. James.’’ Harry smiles gently as he glances at James before looking back down on me.

‘’I’d like to tell you.. that I decided something. This has nothing to do with the contest. This is all my put in, and I hope I helped as much as I could.. but I’m going to take care of all of Dovie’s bills.’’ Harry says, looking at James now.

‘’Harry.. You don’t have to do that.’’ James protests, even though he was grateful of the offer.

‘’Its not that fact that I have to.. but I need to.. I.. I want to.’’ Harry’s jade green eyes make their way back to mine as I gaze up at him.

He smiles at me, making me blush like crazy.

‘’I’ve arranged it.. And I have it all under control..’’ He adds in, hoping that it would ease up the protests from James.

‘’Harry..’’ I whisper gently and he raises his eyebrows as he leans down to me, putting his other hand on the back of the chair.

His long, amazing curly hair was falling over his shoulders as he was only an inch away from my face.

‘’I.. can’t.. ever.. thank.. you enough.’’ I mumble my broken sentence, I was nervous and thankful at the same time.

‘’Don’t worry, you don’t have to.’’ He assures me as he leans in and kisses my forehead with those pink, plump, soft lips.

I felt my cheeks fluster as he leaned back a little to stare into my eyes. He smile was sweet and genuine.

“Harry.. can I ask you.. a stupid.. childish.. question?’’ I ask him softly and he only nods, with that cute little smile showing off his dimples.

I just wanted to reach out and poke both of them like I have always dreamed of doing. But instead, I only blush some more before responding to his expressions.

‘’Will.. you be my.. friend? Because I don’t have.. any.. many friends.’’ I mumble gently to him.

‘’I don’t wanna be your friend.’’ He flatly says.

My heart turns upside down as I furrow my eyebrows at me. But instead of leaning back and leaving like I expected him to do, he just chuckled and smiled again, still staring into my eyes deeply.

‘’I wanna be your best friend.’’ He whispers and I smile I as understood his comment now.

‘’Okay..’’ I nod gently and he nods back before pressing his forehead to mine.

‘’Trust me, Dovie.. I’ll always be here for you.’’ He mumbles as he rubs his nose against mine.

I find myself releasing a giggle and getting a deep, low chuckle in return from Harry. He was so amazing, he treated me like I was his queen. Even though I was nothing but a peasant compared to him and his life.

‘’In fact.. how ‘bout I call you something other than just my best friend..’’ he insists and I just stare into his amazing eyes, getting lost and not being able to find myself anymore.

‘’How ‘bout.. I call you my.. beautiful Princess.. do you like that too?’’ Harry’s voice send shivers down my back as he slightly smirked at me. I nodded a little and he nodded back, a sign of a silent ‘okay’.

I had no clue where this was going. What I was getting myself into. What Harry was doing to me. Or things I was feeling inside of my body and my head..

But honestly..






I liked it.
