"Are you ready?" Emma asked Claire.

Claire just nodded and smiled into the mirror, it was finally happening. After five months of planning, she would make it official with Louis, the man she once despised and couldn't stand to be around.

So many things have happened between them in a year, people wouldn't believe it.

Claire smoothed out her dress and Lauren helped her put on her vail. "It's time." Lauren said with a large smile on her face.

Claire couldn't stop grinning, she was excited and nervous all at the same time. She stepped out of the dressing room and saw Niall standing there.

"Hiya, sis." He said, his voice cracking because he was so happy.

She just lightly laughed in response. Niall held out his arm and she wrapped hers around his. He was the closest thing she had to a father, of course she wanted him to walk her down the aisle.

The music started playing and the double doors of the chapel opened. Everyone stood up, but Claire had her eyes focused on Louis. A large grin spread on his face, he put his hands behind his back to retains maintain a sturdy stance.

Liam patted his shoulder, his way of reassuring him. Claire stood in front of Louis, Louis removed the vail and kissed her hand lightly.

The priest began to speak and that's when Claire's eyes began watering. For once, she finally found happiness. Happiness with Louis Tomlinson.

The day was perfect, even the most angry person in the world could be negative at the how beautiful the day was. It was the year 2019, and the sun was shining brightly, but it wasn't a hot day. Maybe in the low seventies, with a nice breeze and white clouds drifting about in the sky.

Claire and Louis were waiting in the backyard with their good friends, Liam, Ed, Lauren and Emma. The couples watched as their children ran around and played in the pool.

James, the Tomlinson's kid, Makenna, the Payne's daughter and Kaelyn and Mary, the Sheeran's kids were all enjoying the summer weather. Kaelyn and Mary were twins, they weren't identical though, which made it easier on everyone.

James was the oldest out of all of them, being the age of three and half made him think that he was always in charge. Makenna hated being bossed around, so she and James had a love/hate relationship.

The twins were well behaved, they were only two and looked up three year old Makenna. James hated being the only boy, but soon that would all change. Lauren was seven months pregnant with a boy.

"Love," Louis said to his wife, "Are you sure you don't want to get into the pool?"

Claire shrugged while taking a sip of her lemonade, "Louis if you want to get in the pool then go."

"Okay." Louis got up, picking up Claire in the process.

She didn't even fight him because she knew it would be no good. She just laughed as Louis jumped into the cool water, all the kids were laughing hysterically. James jumped onto Louis back, "Throw me dad!" He laughed.

Louis did as he was told and picked up little James, and threw him into the pool. James' floaties kept him up. The laughter of all the children made everyone smile, on this bright beautiful day.

Ed and Emma hopped in and played with their kids, Liam played with Makenna and Lauren sat with her feet in the water. After many years of friendship, everyone found happiness in their new lives.

For once, everything seems normal. Living normal lives and getting a full night's rest. Not worrying every second of everyday, looking over your shoulder all the time. Horrid memories haunting your mind, not anymore.

Everything was normal now, and that's just how they liked it.
