Tattoos

Unforgivable.

CLAIRE'S POV

I ignored everyone as I walked past them to get into the kitchen. It's been two days since I've spoken to either one of them, they all know something and decide it's best to keep it from me.

I poured myself a glass of milk since I lacked the nutrition. I could see Louis walking in from the corner of my eye, but I pretended not to notice.

"Claire." He said from behind me.

I ignored him, again, and walked back to the room. I just wasn't expecting him to follow me. I crawled back under the covers of the bed, not to sleep, but to comfortably think in peace and quiet.

"You can't ignore me forever." He sat next to me, but kept his distance. "I know you're mad because you think we're keeping secrets from you."

Not just that asshole, you accused me of sleeping with Harry. I stayed quiet because I was curious to hear where Louis was going with this.

"Well we are," There's the truth, "But the problem is, I can't speak for everyone else. Only myself, we all have a different secret. I do know their secrets, but I'm not going to say."

Since when did you decide to be the good guy? I remained quiet, the only thing I did was pull the blanket closer to my chin.

Louis let out a large breath, clearly frustrated but I'm sure I was more frustrated then he was. "The reason I'm keeping a secret from you is because if I tell you, you'll be in more danger then you are now."

Silence from me.

"I know you want to know, but I really don't want to put you at any more risks. Please understand, if anyone can understand, it's you." Damnit Louis, why do you convince so easily.

I sighed, "If I find out that you're lying to me, I'll make sure you'll never see me again."

Louis laughed, "Deal."

"I know Ed's secret." I mumbled.

"Really? He told you about how he feels about Lyn?" I almost laughed, what if that wasn't the secret, then Louis would have just revealed Ed's other secret to me.

I nodded, "Yep. So now Liam and Lyn are left."

"Liam and Lyn's aren't that bad, it's a good thing. But since you and Lyn aren't on good terms, she's refusing to tell you."

I shot up and looked at Louis, "Are you shitting me?"

"No. Why are you two so mad at eachother again?" He questioned.

Then I remembered, "She accused me of sleeping with Harry. Same with another person I know." I crossed my arms.

Louis ran a hand through his hair, "Oh, that." He awkwardly laughed, "Please don't kill me."

"Me? Kill you? But you're Louis Tomlinson!" I mocked his voice and famous line.

Louis narrowed his eyes at me, "Yes I am, and don't forget it Claire Randy."

"You don't scare me anymore, Louis." I threw the covers off and walked out to where Lyn was sitting.

Everyone had their backs facing me, and I guess they didn't hear me walk in because they kept talking. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I wanted to so I stayed quiet.

"So when do you want the wedding?" Liam asked Lyn.

Lyn shrugged, "I've always a summer wedding. But what do you want?"

"I don't really care, plus it's the brides day not really the grooms." Liam looked at Ed, "Do you think we can make this work?"

Ed faked a happy expression, "Of course! I'll be right back." He stood up and turned, then saw me. He acted like he didn't see me and walked off, thank you Ed.

"So wedding, huh?" I asked and sat down in the couch in front of the happy engaged couple.

Liam looked calm but Lyn looked pissed, "Did you fucking listen in on our conversation?"

"It's hard not hear a loud mouth like yours, so sorry," I snapped, "This is the big secret you've been keeping? Seriously?"

"Secret? I thought you knew." Liam looked at Lyn, "You didn't tell her?"

"Obviously not." She glared at him.

Liam put his hands up in surrender, "I'm leaving. CAT FIGHT!"

I ignored Liam and kept an intense stare on Lyn. She was hiding something else, and I was determined to find out what. But of course she wouldn't tell, because she wants to piss me off. Well it's working.

"I'm just gonna go." I said and stood up, leaving her alone.

LOUIS' POV

"So when can we get this thing going?" I asked Liam who was typing away on the laptop.

He scratched his head, "Hard to say, these documents are the most difficult but I can do it. For each person it'll take at least a week at most."

Damnit, "Fine, just get working on it. We want to get this done as soon as we can."

I was determined to go through with Niall's plan. It could work, we just need to make sure everyone stays inside and doesn't accidentally reveal our location. Not even the slightest hint, because we have the government stumped right now.

LYN'S POV

Everyone was passed out by now, lucky for me Claire was too because I snuck a little something in the water Louis gave her.

I threw the covers off and walked to the ladder, I unlocked the hatch and crawled out, instantly closing it and running to the same spot I was last week. This meeting was important, because the plan was going to happen.

I could see the dim light up ahead, he was here. I slowed my speed down and walked over to him. "Right on time." He said.

"As you wanted," I smiled, "So when is this all happening?"

"As soon as you give me what I asked for." He held out his hand, the black glove in his hand.

I handed him the hair samples from everyone, just as he asked. "What do you need those for anyway?"

"To prove to the FBI that it's really them. Don't worry, I told them that you're dead. Once this all goes down, you'll be taken care of." He explained.

I crossed my arms, "I better be. I'm not going to prison because of some stupid criminals."

"Well you are one too."

"So are you! You're going against your code or ruled or whatever to win this case, so don't be a hypocrite." I snapped.

"You should get back before anyone notices. Thank you Ms. Reacher." He thanked.

I nodded, "See you next week, Detective."
