What Happened To Us

Shelby's POV

"ASHTON'S HERE!" my mum yelled up the stairs. I grabbed my books and ran down the stairs, grabbed a banana, and was out the door. "Hey girly" Ashton greeted me. "Hey hey hey! Guess who's ready to rock?" I said back. I plugged in my iPod and cranked up some rock.
We got to school way too soon. I was greeted with stares and whistles. I didn't understand the whistles though. I was an average 5'5 with medium length brunette hair. I was wearing a black cami under a leather jacket with black skinny jeans and a metal chain as a belt. I know, not super cute, but whatever. There was no one I was trying to impress. But after 1 week suspension, I guess that's how people would greet you.
Once we were safely inside, I noticed a new boy staring right at me.
"Hey Ash, who's that guy over there?"
"Oh, his name is Harry Styles. You should stay away from him."
"Why? Do you know him?"
"Known him my whole life. First crush, first heartbreak, and definitely not his last. One year, dated 10 girls."
"Oh." I ended the conversation before it got weird
