We were all excited to be back playing football for the school. We were determined to win the cup this year, both the girls team and our team were gonna get them. We were so excited to play a little game before our coach came out, but before we could. Olly (one of the team) decided to hit my arm and told me to turn around so I did and as I did I dropped the football that was in my hand. As I turned around I saw the girl’s football team walking our way looking mighty god damn hot. They had this kind of swagger and determination that they had never had before. Louis, Liam, Zayn, Harry all came up to me and gave me the look. So just as the girls walked passed all five of us wolfed whistled. Then Perrie, Danielle, Eleanor, Lauren and Katie all turned around so they were looking over their right shoulder, smiled gave us a wink and then turned back around and gave us a little wiggle.
We all laughed. “Boy’s listen in! I have some good news and some bad news.” Our coach Danny said. Louis replied “what is the good news then Danny.” “Well boy’s we have our first match on Friday. The bad news is your gonna have to train with the girl’s today.” You could tell that the boys were not at all happy by their faces. However it was a chance to see what the girl’s were made off. “Lads just think we can have a little game with them and of course let them win as they are girls.” All off the lads just laughed. Olly asked Danny “why haven’t we got you?” Danny replied “well you do kind of have me, but the girls coach quit at the end of last season and they need a new coach so, I will be helping out until they find a new one. We are giving the potential candidates a session today to see which one the girls prefer. So come on lads what are you waiting for and get over there.” We all jogged over. As we did the girls were just warming up. We have never played a game in school with them as we weren’t allowed. This is gonna be amazing Louis whispered to me.
As we were huddling in to have our team talk, Katie, being little miss competitive, shouted over “be prepared to lose to girls!!”
All of the girls just glared to us. Both teams knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses. But this was different, at the end of last season the girls got to go to football camp for a week. Each player had their own position on the pitch but they had changed it all. Katie is normally in goal but she was up front. We were all ready to kick off.
