On the way back from woodlands I received an email. I opened it.
To: Miss Katie Kelland
From: Mrs smith head misstress of reading university.
Dear miss Kelland,
We are delighted that you have chosen our university to apply to. In the recent weeks we have had an interview with you over the phone also we have had time to speak to your college tutor and school teachers. Due to your late application we were unsure if we could except your application however due to your excellent GCSE grades, predicted A Level grades and your outstanding refrences we would like to congratulate you on being accepted into Reading University. We will be holding an open day on the 5th April 9:30 till 4:30. We hope to see you there.

I couldn't believe it. I wanted to tell Niall straight away but I couldn't I wanted to tell my parents. See I had told mum and dad that I had applied for uni but not Niall. I wanted keep it a surprise. The only reason why I decided to apply to reading was because it was closer to him and I could get my own place. My mum and dad weren't so sure about me moving up there but that's the thing they were fine with me going down to Weymouth or bournmouth uni and living down there but not going up there, however they came around to the idea. I was soo excited.
When we got back to the apartment I rang mum and dad to tell them. I knew I would end up crying so I was prepared mum and dad were soo happy for me.
We were sat in the resturant and had ordered our food and drinks. The drinks had come and I was ready to say the news.

"umm guys I have something I want to say."
Everyone went quite.
"well before Christmas I applied for a couple off university courses and three off the universities declined me but today on the way back from woodlands I received an email from from the one I wanted and I have got in. Soo basically I'm going to uni." I said. Niall was a little shocked but still happy for me. He hugged me.
"what uni is it. Please don't say we have to say goodbye to you." Eleanor said.
I laughed. " its a lot closer than you think" I left them in suspence.
"where is it." Niall said getting impatenint.
"the chosen university that I am going to is. Drum roll please." the boys started to do a drum roll and then stopped.
"reading" "wait what your gonna be moving up to London. Wooooaaaahhhhhhhhh oh yeah oh yeah" Danielle. Said with perrie running around the table to give me a big hug.
"well yeah I need to find a flat in reading or on the out skirts off London so I can travel there every day. So you lot gonna have to put up with me a hell off a lot more." Niall was soo happy for me. "sooo what are you gonna study." he asked. "well that's the thing my first choice was crimeonology and my second was fashion and textiles. I don't know which one though. I have till the 5th April till decide." I said.
"omg. Woooaaaahhhhhhhh does that mean I will get to see u more." Niall said I just smiled.
Everyone was soo happy for me. I couldn't wait to start searching for my flat.
We âte our food and had some deseret. We left about 9:00. We were all really excited.
I went to bed a little later as I had a headache starting to come. I slept until my alarm went off in the morning. Niall got up as well, I told him to stay in bed as he needed the sleep as he had a week off promo. "babe how are you gonna get to collage." "Lauren can take me.". "no I'm taking you. End off now go and get your georgous ass and body dressed I will make you some breakie." Niall said making me laugh. "alright alright u can take me and then possibly pick me up. You know as you love me."
"alright just text me when ur finished." he said as he got up and went and made us some breakie. I had on a pair off light blue jeans and a baggie white t-shirt that had bad written on it. I placed my DC hi-tops on and started to do my hair. I ruffley straightened it and then put my hair into a high ponytail with my finge down. I then placed a hair doughnut through over my ponytail and then created a bun. I hairsprayed it, grabbed my bag and was ready to go. Niall was in the kitchen so I took my place at the table. He cooked me a fried breakie. He came and joined me at the table. He sat opposite me and our feet were playing footsie. We were eating away when Lauren and Louis joined us. Louis decided to take Lauren to collage. Niall went to get dressed and then came back it was about 8:15 we had to leave. Niall decided to take the Audi again. I didn't mind though. It was nice not having to climb into the range rover. "kitkat I was thinking instead off looking for a flat why don't we look for one. You know I'm getting a little well not bored but want somewhere different to be my home. So why not with you." "ummmm I know what you mean. I would love to nia nia.we can start looking after next week you know when I join u on tour. Ahhhh sooo excited. I just have to go to the uni on the 5th to an open day."
"woahhhh. Okay. We will sort it.". We reached collage. "just on time." I kissed Niall goodbye and got out off the car at the same time as Lauren did in the car behind. We said goodbye to the boys and walked in together the boys left. We walked up to our rooms.
I haven't yet had a bad day and I'm thankful for it. I honestly don't know how I'm gonna react when I do. Anyway Ian wasn't in today so we had Jim. I didnt mind though cause I wanted to tell him about me getting into uni. We were on a break so I went up to Jim and told him, he was so happy that I had got in. I told him that I didn't know if I was yet gonna do crimeinology. He understood.
I have always loved designing my dresses but could it really give me a career I needed. Police force would be amazing but would it put my life into danger. I just needed to think about college and getting through untill next Thursday. Collage was boring as usual. We finished at about 12:30. I texted Niall at 12 to let him know. He arrived just as I walked out off the doors. "how was collage kitkat." "it was same old same old". "you hungry." "yeah a little"
"good cause I'm taking my princess out so we can talk and we can celebrate your news. I have your tablets and your ipad I want to see the email and the place you will be going."
"okay. You are too good to me. You know that." I said. Niall drove off. We were going to the Beef-eater.
We got seated and I got up my emails. "wow babe. they must off seen your amazing talent." he said.
I just laughed it off. I then showed him the uni. He seemed really happy for me. "have you made a decision on which course ur gonna do." he asked.
"well I don't actually know. I have always wanted to be in the police but now I don't know if it would put me In danger. With the majority off time I'm with u in London I get photographed and in the public eye. And then There's designing it takes me to another world. I feel free and all my worries seem to disappear. I really need to think long and hard about this." I said. It was really a massive decision that I knew couldn't be rushed.
"well no matter what you chose I will be here to support you. What have your mum and dad said."he said grabbing hold off my hand and kissing it.
"well that's the thing they think that designing isn't a career but then again they said that they will support me no matter what I chose. See the thing is if I now join the police then I could have the risk off the paps following me on my jobs which can be dangerous. I honestly don't know."
"something will click in your head and it will make it all clear."
"you know what to say to make me feel better. I love you for that."
"well I love you too kitkat." we were talking away about how I'm gonna miss him while he's away. I know its only for a week but its still a week.
We were finished about an hour and a bit later we heading back to the flat. "babe what are we gonna do with this flat." I asked him.
"well we can keep it for when we are down in this area and then if we just need time away then we can stay here almost as a holiday home."
"woooaaahhh love you."
"love you more."
We reached the apartment and I decided that I wanted to go on the roof.
We sat up there. No one else was home.
It was just nice to be the only ones there. "its nice just us here." Niall said.
"I was just thinking that."
The others came back later that night. Today was the day that I had to say goodbye to Niall. They had to make their way back up to London to start the second part off their tour.
Niall packed up his stuff. I helped him. He decided to take the Audi up too London as I use the range rover quite a lot. Well tbh it was easier because as soon as I graduate I will moving up there and all off our belongings.
Me and Lauren had said that as soon as we finish collage and we have figured out what we will do in the future then we would move closer to the boys.
Niall left at about midday just like the others. It was weird just to have me and Lauren in the flat on our own again. We had to go and get some shopping cause the boys had managed to eat us out off all the food we had. Lauren drove as I couldn't yet drive untill Sunday. We were jamming out in the car. We reached the supermarket and only a few people recognised us. We got our shopping and making our way back to the car. We loaded everything back into the car and we were on our way back to the flat. Later that afternoon I got a message from Niall saying he arrived back in London and there packing up for there time in Ireland. He said he would ring me once they had landed later that night. The next week went by soo fast before I knew it, it was Wednesday and me and Lauren started to pack. We had three weeks worth off stuff to take with us. Plus I had decided that I want to take my career in fashion. I let the uni know and they said that they will keep my position open in crimeinology just incase I changed my mind.
I hadn't yet told anyone what I had chosen to do textiles. I knew that they would be happy for me.
I decided to tweet: cannot wait to start uni. Gonna be good fun and get to make some amazing memories.
I got so many retweets.
I rang Niall and told him I was packing. He was laughing. He asked me if I had decided what course I was gonna do. I just told him not yet. I wanted to tell them all at the same time. I had already told mum and dad and well they kinda seemed disappointed but its what made me happy. After I explained the reasons why they understood but still seemed disappointed.
I had packed all my stuff up. I know that the uni wanted to see some off my work. Little did Niall and the others know but the dress that I had been designing last week I had nearly made.well I say nearly made I had all off the pieces but not sewn together yet but that didn't matter because I had two weeks till the open day. I had two suitcases full off my dresses. I was so scared yet really excited I had all off my clothes packed.
Hannah said that she would pick us up tomorrow morning and drop us back after collage as our cars were all loaded up. The only thing I had to do was put in my bag I have in the front with me and my mannequin. I managed to fit everything into the range rover. Me and Lauren went to bed early that night as we would be travelling to London in the afternoon.
We woke up and got ready for collage. Got our stuff and Hannah was outside ready for us, we got in and collage was the same. All I could think about was getting to London.
We had a three week break, what's not to look forward to we are traveling all over the uk with our boys watching them the majority off the time. Spending time with the fans and getting to meet the boys family. I rang Niall. "babe me and Lauren are on our way. And I have another surprise for you all."
"wooaahhh cannot wait. And we all have a couple off surprises for you as well. Better be off got an interview to do love you."

Me and Lauren were nearly there but me being me I was hungry and needed to take my tablets so we stopped off at reading services.

Within a couple off minutes I got a reply.

Okay will let the girls know. I'm guessing you have brought god knows how many suitcases full off clothes just leave them in the car untill we get back and we will help you. We decided we going on a little trip tonight so just wear something comfy and stunning and some shoes you can walk in. Don't try and get it out off the girls cause they don't know ever. Love you more. Gotta get back to another interview let you know when we are on our way back. Make your self at home like you normly do. He knows I hate surprises but at the same time its not just me its the other girls as well ohh well I will just have to wait and see. Me and Lauren finished up and made our way back on the road.
We were nearly there. Me and Lauren stopped in a layby before we entred London. "are we gonna go around the back like normal or go around the front." Lauren said.
"well I would say we could go around the front but I have my maniquin and some other things I need to take up and don't want to get hasseled. So I think the back. Niall said they have a surprise for us tonight. God knows what it is with them."
We got back into our cars and carried on. Not that long later we reached the apartment. I had managed to get my maniquin in to a luggage bag so it was easier. I had that bag and then the two suticases with my dreses.
We took them out and Lauren helped me take them up. We got into the elevator and then we were going up to the apartment. We knocked on the door and Eleanor answered.
"ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. We thought you would be later. Come in come in. Please say you have more than that." Eleanor said taking one off the bags off of me.
"ele this is me and Lauren you are on about yeah we have more this is just part off mine I need to do some stuff for uni open day so I brought it up with me.
You know I better start on it cause with the boys here I doubt I will get as much as I need to be done." I said and we all laughed.
"fancy a cuppa." Danielle said.
"yeah please. Where perrie." Lauren asked. "she's at an interview with little mix. She will be back in a bit. The girls are coming over for a bit as well." Dee said
"wicked." I said.
I unpacked my maniquin and put it together. I then went into mine and nialls room and unpacked all off my dresses. The uni said that they wanted to see some off my work but had to have four pieces. All I can say is thank god I had three already. I don't know what I would off done if I had none.
Once I came out I had my mini sewing machine and I was ready to go. I ended up going for a scarlet red pure silk fabric. I knew that it was hard to work with silk but if I mastered it then it would be easier the next time. I was sat at the table with my iPod in and having spreaded my stuff out the girls were sat at the sofas chatting away. I was in my own world. My phone vibrated and I saw I had a message from Niall

I couldn't help but panic a little but be happy.
I was nearly finished my dress I had a little bit left to do all I had to do was fit it to one off the girls. See I hadn't yet asked them if they would be my models for my dresses. The uni had said that either I can provide models or they can but it would be hard to find four models that are exactly the same size.
As the boys walked through the doors. I had just finished my dress I had placed it onto the maniquin. It looked amazing. I took out my headphones and placed it on the table. I turned around to see all off them just staring at me.
"omg. Katie." Danielle said.
"I'm guessing this is a good time to tell you that I have decided what course I'm doing at uni. I'm gonna do fashion and textiles." Niall came running towards me and lifted me up.
"what made you decide that then."
"well I feared that if I joined the police then I would be risking more peoples lives. But I'm not giving up my dream though I'm gonna join the specials after uni. One more thing I have to have four models for my dresses." they all looked shocked.
"what do you mean four dresses." perrie said. "umm well the uni wants to see some off my work to asses my ability so I have my prom dress, two dresses from the Brits and then this one. So I was wondering if Danielle Lauren perrie and Eleanor would do me the pleasure off being my models." they all looked stunned but after a second they came running towards me.
" ofcourse we would love to." they all said in unison. Niall went and got a bag from the bedroom.
"well this is going to go well. We all wanted to get you something to congratulate you for getting into uni so we got you this." he handed me a bag. It was all wrapped up in some amazing gift wrap.
"you guys shouldn't off got me a present." I opened it; it was a new design book. It was like my other one. It was purple. On the inside it had photos off my dresses. "How did you get the photos." I asked.
"well we took them when you were at collage and had it custom made. We wanted to get you something that was personal." there was a little envelope that was in nialls hand writting. I opened it.

We are all so proud off you. We knew that one day you would see how talented you are and we wanted to show you. So we have arranged for a photoshoot for your dresses. we thought that you would like to see how amazing your dresses look in photo's.
We are all so proud off you my little cupcake.

Tears started to roll down my face. "awwhhhh don't cry." Niall said.
Nialls phone went off. He answered it. It was Paul.
"babe Paul wants a word with you." he said.

I'm not to bad myself. Now the reason I wanted to speak to you was because well seeming that you have done an amazing job at styling the boys before. Lucie was wondering if you wanted to help her style the boys whilst your staying with them the next three weeks. You could call it some work experience.

Will you get Niall to text over your number and I will let lucie know the news. I will let you go now ohh and congratulations on getting into uni. I know Niall said that you hadn't yet decided what course to take have you decided yet.
Him and his big gob. Haha well I have actually I'm gonna do fashion and textiles so this experience will work in my benefit. Thank you again Paul.
" what did he want." Harry said.
"ohh just nothing really just getting to help lucie style you lot. "
"you are gonna do amazing babe." Niall said hugging me.
"ohh I need you to text Paul my number." I said kissing him.
"okay will do that. girls go and get changed we have a surprise for you."
"one problem mine and laurens clothes are still in our cars." we said and laughed the boys went down and got them. We put our bags in the rooms and I got changed.
We did as they said and I just put on a pair off comfy jeans hi-tops and a hoodie.
Each off the boys had a blindfold and they had their keys.
"why have you got blindfolds." I said getting worried.
"don't worry. Its not that bad. We just don't want you to see it." Niall said hugging me.
I believed him.
We all got into our cars Niall drove the Audi. We were off. It was exciting yet I hated surprises. We were in the car for about half an hour when Niall pulled over and handed me the blindfold.
"you promise not to peak kitkat."
"I promise."
