Bad

Harry's POV:

I placed Beth in the last row of the van with her head on my lap. She is still out. She's wearing a stained long sleeve grey shirt and along with stained leggings.

Will wrapped a spare cloth we had in the car around my injured shoulder, but I can't even feel the pain.

I never remove my eyes from her the whole drive. We arrive back at Liam's and several cars that belong to more of our members sit on the street.

Liam helps me carry Beth inside the house even with me objecting it. If it weren't for my fucking shoulder I'd be able to carry her fine on my own.

About five more members were in the house, keeping watch or stocking inventory for possible events later. Liam only thought we needed about eight guys to go to Tate's house and he was right. These boys came after we left in case we needed back up.

Liam and I place her on the couch and Addie immediately rushes to her. The doctor, Stefan, arrives about five minutes later. Stefan was the doctor for Nate when we were still with him and he covered all the injuries ranging from scratches to gun wounds.

"Harry, mate, you're shot," He said examining my shoulder.

"Her first," I say, backing away. "She hasn't woken up since before we picked her up."

Stefan walks over to Beth and turns to the group of men in the room. "Do you all mind? It's better to look over her in private." He says and the boys, and even Addie, leave the room. All except me, of course.

Stefan examines her; looking at her face and in her ears. He glances at me for approval before lifting her shirt to look at her stomach. He pushes around to see if there are any abnormalities. He then lifts her eyelids to see her eyes.

He stops. "Harry, her eyes are bloodshot," He says.

"What do you mean?" I asked, coming closer.

"They could have drugged her, that could be why she is still unconscious."

He continues to examine her as I pace back and forth in the room. He then pulls up her sleeves to see the bruises on her arms.

"Oh, god," Stefan says continuing to look at her arms as I rush towards him.

"What? What is it?" I say in a panic.

"Look, at her veins. There were IVs in them. Harry, I need to do a test, but they more than likely loaded her with drugs." He says standing to meet my height.

"What do you mean? What could this mean?" I scream.

"It could be heroin, maybe morphine. I have to run some blood tests, but Harry," He pauses. "they may have tried to make her OD."

"How is that even possible in such a short amount of time?" I scream and knock a lamp off a table sending it shattering to the ground.

"It's rare but possible. Depending on how much they actually injected her with," He stops me. "we should get her to the hospital."

"We can't do that. It's too dangerous and her mother may find out." I yell and rush my fingers through my hair.

"We can take her to my practice, I have nurses and other doctors that will keep everything quiet. They can patch you up there while I work on her." I nod and stare at my helpless girl. None of this would have happened to her if I didn't get involved in her life.

I walk into the kitchen to see everyone standing patient and quiet.

"We're taking her to the hospital," I begin. "Thank you all for your help but I only need a couple to come with me. The rest of you stay here. We'll keep you updated." I walk back into the other room and gaze at my beautiful Beth.

Liam once again helps me lift Beth and bring her to the van. Stefan, Louis, Niall, and Addie follow.

I once again lay her head on my lap.

"I'm so sorry, Bethy."
