Coincidental Meeting (A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic)

Louis and I finally left way past midnight. After our kiss we continued to play and act silly. Between tag and hide and go seek I was quite tired. If was as if Louis knew I didn't have a great childhood and wanted to make it up to me.

Once we were back at my apartment Louis walked me to the door, holding my hand and holding me close. I grabbed my key and was about to say goodnight when he pulled me close and said, "Look at the moon."

I was caught off guard by this request but did as I was told and stared at the full moon. The night sky was a dark purple and the moon was shining brightly even through the few clouds that were covering the sky.

I smiled then said, "It's beautiful."

"Like you."

"Do you ever stop being sweet?"

He slowly shook his head and grabbed my key. Louis unlocked the door and I immediately thought he was expecting to come inside with me but then he kissed me again. We lingered there for a moment after the kiss and he finally spoke.

"I could ask to come in. I could. But I'm not going to," he trailed off like he wanted to really come in, "I'm going to say goodnight and walk to the car. I'm going to drive home the happiest person in the world."

He turned and looked at the moon then finished his thought. "I'm going to go to bed and wake up the happiest person in the world. I'm never going to forget this night."

In my head I was thinking that this was him saying this was just a one time thing and that we shouldn't talk anymore.

"Anyway, I'm rambling. Tomorrow night, want to come over? We can order food and watch a movie. Simple second date?"

Louis stood there waiting for my response and I was still processing it all when I said, "Yes Louis. I would love that."

"Alright Maria. I can't wait to see you again."

He started walking back to his car and it was very obvious that he was beyond happy. I walked inside and locked the door.

Perfect ending to a perfect night.
