Coincidental Meeting (A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic)

I agreed to tag along with the boys to their interview. Before the interview Louis introduced me to Niall and Zayn. All the boys seemed to like me but who knew if they really did.

I liked that they seemed interested in getting to know me, like it made me happy that Niall was talking to me about food. Weird, but it was interesting. Zayn even introduced me to Perrie. She seemed sweet and I was glad that another girlfriend was here, even though Louis and I were not official it was comforting knowing that I was not the only non-One Direction member at this interview.

Louis came up to me minutes before the interview started and kissed me slowly, holding my hips.

"Don't worry, it shouldn't take too long then we can go do something," he whispered to me while I held him close.

I smiled at him because I knew that I could see myself with Louis for a long time. Everything he did amazed me and he never stopped being the sweetest person I have ever met.

"Louis, we have to go out now," Liam said tapping him on the shoulder. "We'll bring him back soon Maria."

I smirked, "You can have him for now Liam."
It made me happy that I could joke around with the boys and they would just smile or laugh. I felt close to them, like we were already friends and everything seemed to be great.

I watched the screen from backstage as the girls in the crowd went crazy for all the boys. I smiled and bit my lip because I knew that I was one lucky girl for all the moments I had spent with Louis lately.

Perrie came up to me and asked, "Are you and Louis a thing?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like are you dating or not?"

"I'm not sure if we are dating officially yet but we have been spending a lot of time together. I stayed over last night. That's why I'm here." I felt like I was being judged by Perrie for some reason. I didn't understand what I did to her though. It's not like I was flirting with Zayn, I barely said hello to him.

"Well, don't get too comfortable. Eleanor wants him back."

I just wanted to leave because Perrie was making me angry and I didn't want to lose Louis before I got him. Perrie was one of his best friend's girlfriends. I couldn't do anything about this.

"Look, it's not that I have anything against you," Perrie started, "but Eleanor was my friend. She said Louis just broke up with her. No reason."

I never really asked about the break up because personally I did not care. Now Perrie was filling my mind with thoughts I did not know if I should believe them or not. Was she telling the truth? Or was she just trying to get to me.

"I want the best for Louis because he is Zayn's friend and fellow band member but I honestly thought Eleanor and him were going to make it forever..." she started trailing off because the interviewer asked the boys about relationships.

"So what about your love life boys?" was the question being asked.

Zayn started, "Well of course I'm still with Perrie. Love ya babe." he waved toward the camera because he knew she was backstage watching him.

Next Liam talked about Danielle and how he wished the paps would leave them alone so it would be easier to go out with her. "Sometimes I wish I could just go out and be normal with my girlfriend."
Harry then started talking, "Well I'm single right now but who knows, I think that it could be changing soon."
"I agree with Harry," Niall said.

Everyone was waiting for Louis' answer, I was nervous for the answer.

The interviewer knew about the break-up and chose now to acknowledge the fact.
"It's been a recent headline, Louis did you break up with Eleanor Calder?"

Louis seemed annoyed by the question. I'm sure he didn't feel like talking about it at all.

"My split with Eleanor was completely mutual. We both decided that it was better off if we stop," he trailed off and looked into the camera. "I think I knew I had something better coming along and someone I should probably be with."

All the boys made little oooohhh noises and the interviewer looked genuinely confused.

"So you are saying you already have a new girlfriend?" he asked ready to know the answer and happy that Louis might admit this first on his behalf.

"I have met someone. Yes. Are we dating? No. Nothing is official yet, but what I can tell you is that she is simply amazing."

He just called me amazing. I swear it felt like my heart skipped a few beats and I knew I probably looked completely ridiculous from the giant smile on my face.

"Can we know her name?" the interviewer asked with complete eagerness.

Harry interrupted, "It's me, actually."

Niall and Liam laughed. Zayn just went on to say, "Now that's adorable."

The boys were all so adorable and I was happy to know them.

Louis finally got the chance to speak again, "Harry does have a special place in my heart but her name is Maria."
