Chapter 3


"What the hell do you want?"Diana asked not expecting to see Louis walk into the room.

"To apologize"Louis said softly.

"Apologize?"Diana asked making sure she had heard him right.

"Yea..When you told me you were pregnant I sort of..lost it"Louis said quietly.

"Yea, Sort of.."Diana said rolling her eyes causing Louis to chuckle.

"I know that my suggestion was not the best and for the record I am glad you didn't take my suggestion but you understand that I can't be involved right?"Louis asked as he placed Diana's tray infront of her and plopped down beside her on the bed.

"I know Lou, I've thought about it every day.."Diana said quietly.

"Yea, I know..I am sorry but with the band and Eleanor I just sort of panicked.."Louis said and Diana nodded.

"I figured something out..I can be involved well sort of without it actually coming out.."Louis said scratching his chin and Diana looked over at him.

"I feel like if we just go on like normal we still see each other everyday anyway so I can sort of be there just..not there like a boyfriend but rather like as two best friends sharing a baby"Louis said and although Diana was happy Louis was looking at it different now she also was shattered by his comment of being involved just not actually involved.

"But we could get caught..I knoq for a fact that it's 100 percent your baby Lou, I wasnt with anybody before you except Josh and when you and I slept together Josh and I were already done for months"Diana said softly and Louis nodded.

"I'm not denying I just--I just was overwhelmed because when you told me you were pregnant it was the last thing I was expecting"Louis said honestly and Diana chuckled.

"Trust me, It was just as much a shock to me I took atleast 20 tests and still wasnt believing it I thought 20 tests were wrong and still made a doctors appointment to confirm it and it still don't feel real but the fact that my stomach is getting harder and starting to get round a bit..it's in there"Diana said quietly and Louis chuckled biting his lip as he looked at Diana's stomach and could not see a difference as she had her shirt on, Diana caught him staring and chuckled uncomfortable.

"Please don't do that.."Diana said uncomfortable as she placed a pillow infront of her stomach feeling self conscious.

"Can I see it please?"Louis asked and Diana rolled her eyes.

"My stomach? No..I mean it's nothing just a little bump.."Diana said quickly.

"A little bump? Well part of that "little" bump is mine and I want to see!"Louis said cheerfully, Diana rolled her eyes but she was glad her and Louis were actually starting to get back the friendship she feared they'd lost.

"No"Diana said firmly turning away from him, Louis reacted by reaching over and tickling her sides knowing full well how ticklish she was.

"Show me.."Louis demanded as Diana giggled.

"No"Diana said in between laughter and Louis kept up tickling her sides.

"Show me or I swear to god I will not stop"Louis said now laughing himself, Diana squirmed to get away from him rolling to the other side of the bed as Louis quickly followed.

"You've done it now!"Louis said with a chuckle as he sat on Diana's legs.

"Now, Will you show me or do I have to check my self?"Louis asked raising an eye brow as Diana caught her breath under him, Diana didn't answer which led to Louis taking matters into his own hands and lifting her shirt slightly, Louis reached out his hand and touched Diana's now exposed stomach, he looked up at Diana and an awkward silence fell over them as their heads got closer and As if on cue the door swung open and Harry entered thinking nothing of it since he was also aware of the friendship between Diana and Louis.

"Jesus harry!"Louis jumped and Harry looked puzzled at the scene infront of him Louis on top of Diana her stomach exposed as she caught her breath from beneath Louis.

"I--Sorry am I interrupting something? Liam said dinner will be cold if you don't come on.."Harry said as his cheeks went red.

"No, I was just um--Right I'll be there in a minute.."Louis said and Harry turned about to leave the room.

"Wait, Harry!"Louis said as he caught off Diana and went over to Harry.

"Listen, Please don't mention that to anyone..it was innocent I swear to god I can imagine from your point of view what it looked like but it was nothing of the sort I was just trying to raise Diana's spirits by tickling her"Louis said and Harry nodded.

"Right, Well lucky it was me who walked in then and not Liam or El right?"Harry asked with a chuckle.

"Right, I'll be right down"Louis said patting Harry's shoulder before Harry left the room.

"That was close.."Diana said still laying on the bed after pulling her shirt back down.

"I better get back downstairs..I mean because the guys are becoming suspicious now.."Louis said pointing to the door where Harry had just been.

"Yea.."Diana said quietly.

"Hey tho, Eleanor is um going out of town tomorrow for a few days and mom asked me to look after the kids tomorrow..fancy joining me? God I love them but the twins are a bit cheeky since they've just turned 11 and the other twins being 1 going on 2..it's hell but I can't tell me mom no"Louis said with a chuckle.

"Okay fine..but only this once okay?"Diana said and Louis clapped his hands happy she agreed and Diana rolled her eyes and an awkward silence filled the room.

"Well, You best get out before they come up and drag you out.."Diana said breaking the silence and Louis nodded waving to her before leaving, Once Louis was gone Diana sighed laying still on the bed thinking about what just happened, She wasn't sure now that a baby was involved if she could ever just be friends with Louis because since she got pregnant she feels different about him and thinks of him in ways that she never thought possible before she was pregnant.
