The dreaded Summary!

Okay so the summary is called the summary for a reason, its to SUM-UP your story WITHOUT giving the whole entire plot in one paragraph. Follow these tips if you’re stuck on ideas:

>>Never Do anything like this:
Sophia and Niall were best friends when they were little. But things happened to Sophia’s family and she moved to New York. But after three years of waiting, she reconnects with Niall. They meet and things go lustful. And before they knew it, they were pregnant with a little girl.
Doing something like this RUINS the entire story.

>>always put a copyright notice towards the end of the summary, just to be sure no one tries and copies your work.

>>Try to give a short paragraph relating to points made in the story. For example, like this: A memory is important. A memory is special. But how can we remember something that hurt us? Aren’t memories supposed to be happy?
Or something like that.

>>NEVER GIVE A FULL CHAPTER FOR YOUR SUMMARY!!!! Never!

>>Try to include dialogue if the whole paragraph thing doesn’t work. And NO I don’t mean talking between two characters, I mean like this: “Love was once something I was able to do.. before you left me.” – L.P.

>>NEVER EVER EVER EVER NEVER LEAVE IT BLANK.

>>This is the place to post Trailer links, soundtrack links, and such.

>>another idea some people do is song lyrics. But you MUST be specific with the song lyrics. NOT LIKE THIS: Love me harder. BUT LIKE THIS: Does it ever drive you crazy.. just how fast the night changes?
*Just make sure the lyrics ACTUALLY go along with your story idea/topic!!!!

>>Just always keep in mind that no one wants to know the MAIN KEY POINTS. That will completely ruin everything!! Just keep it simple, but NOT TOO SIMPLE!! Just always know what you’re trying to aim for.

>>Remember its just SUM UP not the ENTIRE Thing!!!!!!
