Savior

Aqua's POV
As school was coming to an end I was excited to finally get home and unwind a little bit. Although I have a feeling that wont happen I need to tell at least Liam about my leg. At least one of them needs to know. I should ask him after the bell rings to come over after school.
About 20 minutes later the bell rings and we are finally dismissed. Thank God. I go to my locker to put my books away and hopefully Liam will come see me. And it seems as though hes a mind reader cause here he comes.
"Hey Aqua, ready to go home?" he asked. I smiled up at him.
"Yeah, but hey could you maybe come over after school I need to talk to you about something." he looked confused and I was sweating bullets.
"Umm sure is everything okay? Did Derek bother you again?" he asked about to go in attack mode.
"No everything is okay I promise I just have to get something off my chest." I spoke. He looked at me with furrowed brows, but nodded his head anyways.
"Okay ill see you after school then. Until then my lovely Aqua Marie." he bowed at me. I giggled n=and he toom off with Niall and Louis.
~Skip Ride Home~
I had just gotten home and I took off my prosthetic. It was almost as satisfying as taking off your bra ladies. I had just gotten me a granola bar when the door bell rang. Its probably Liam I thought. I hopped over to the door, and took a peak out the peep hole to see him standing there. I opened the door and was presented with a smile.
"Hello lovely I'm here to partake in secret conversation about my dear friend Harry." he spoke all posh like. I giggled, and shook my head.
"We arnt talking about that, but come in anyways you nut." I smiled. He came in and took a seat on the couch I hopped over to him while he gave me a confused look.
"What you do sprain your ankle or something?" he asked with a small smile. I gulped and raised my skirt so he could see that there was only one leg there.
"That's what I wanted to tell you about. I only have one leg. And only you and a select few people know and id like to keep it that way until further notice." I spoke.
"Oh my God Aqua how did this happen?" he asked shocked. I swallowed hard as the memories began to surface again, and my eyes started to water.
"No, no Aqua you don't have to tell me." he spoke again. I shushed him.
"No, I have to. When I was 2 my dad left me and my mom claiming he didn't want to be a father in the first place. I hadn't seen him in a long time. When I was 7 I started asking my mom questions about him. How come he wasn't here? Where was he? When was he coming home? Things like that. She used to tell me that he was on a business trip. I believed her. I had no idea that since I was 2 he has had people watching me. Kinda looking after me. Making sure nothing too bad happened to me and if something did we would receive a weird envelope with cash in it to pay for expenses like doctors visits. Anyway one day I was about 13 I was walking home from a dance rehearsal when I felt someone looking at me. I turned around and there was some man with all black walking behind me. I didn't think anything of it, until he started to get closer. I picked up speed and started running home he was running after me. I was so scared I wasn't watching where I was going. I ended up in the middle of the street right in front of an oncoming car. Next thing I know I was in the hospital bed with mom next to me and I only had one leg. They said the car ran right over it and tore it off in the process. They never got the driver. Ever since then ive had a prosthetic and only one leg." I looked over at Liam to see him in tears.
"Did you ever find out who was chasing you?" he asked softly.
"It was my dad. He was at the hospital too but only briefly then he disappeared again."
"I'm so sorry Aqua. I can only imagine what you've been going through." I said and gave me a hug.
"Its okay ive been just dandy. I have incredible balance."
