Savior

Well 4 hours and 38 minutes later here I am standing at my new front door. Its so surreal. When mom told me we were moving I though it was a joke, or maybe a suggestion. I never thought she would go through with it.

"Don't pout, you'll get frown lines." I turned to see who was speaking. I tall boy with big arms and beautiful brown eyes staring sown at me.

"Excuse me? Do I know you sir?" I asked. He smiled and chuckled.

"Umm no my name is Liam, I just saw the boxes and a new face. Figured I was getting a new neighbor, wanted to come introduce myself." he spoke while holding out his hand for me to shake. I took his big hand in my smaller one. I noticed he had a tattoo on his forearm. Four arrows. I wonder what they represent?

My thoughts were pushed to a halt by the sound of my moms voice.

"Honey who is this?" she asked with a smile.

"Oh mom this is Liam, Liam this is my mom Janet." he shook my moms hand with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Liam. I was just going to tell my daughter that she should invite the neighbors over for dinner. To get better equainted with everyone in the neighborhood. Would you and your family like to come over for dinner? I was planning on a wonderful pot roast." my mom spoke confidently. My mom always had the aura around her that made her seem very confident and intimidating at the same time.

"Oh well I don't live with my family but I have a roommate. May he come?" Liam asked. Doesn't live with his family? I wonder why. He doesn't look to be a few years older than me. Why is a kid who looks this young be living on his own?

"The more the merrier!" she said.

Mom walked into the house probably to get the kitchen set up for pot roast. I turned to Liam to see him already looking at me with a smile on his face. He sure does smile a lot.

"So I guess I will see you tonight at dinner?" he said.

"I gues you will." I spoke. I started to walk into the house, when I heard Liam's voice again.

"I never got your name!" he said. I smiled and turned to face him.

"Aqua, Aqua Marie."
