Chapter 8
Alyssa’s P.O.V
I spent the day with my family and went to my room at about 8, just in time for Harry to FaceTime me.
“Hey, how’s your day been?” I answered.
“Good thanks; we just did some writing for the new album, how about you?” He replied.
“I filmed a sibling tag which was fun, and obviously spent time with my family.” I told him.
“So, how were your family interrogating you earlier?” He asked, getting comfy on his sofa.
“Well Maisie knew that I was in the car with you, and started asking why I hadn’t told her and stuff, and then we went on to what we were and they wouldn’t accept that we’re just casual and wanted to put a label on it. And then there was my dad saying he wanted to meet you and I was like, we’ve been on two dates, way to scare him off Dad.” I laughed and Harry did too.
“Yeah, I’d prefer not to meet your dad after two dates if that’s okay,” he admitted.
“That’s fine; I would never want to meet your family this early.” I confessed.
“I don’t blame you, my mum and sister can be pretty full on, especially with a girl I like. Seriously we’d have to be dating for at least 2 months before I even thought about taking you to meet them.” He laughed.
“Oh yeah, and then there was Maisie asking if we were friends with benefits.”
“Gosh, she wants to go fast, we haven’t even gotten to 2nd base yet,” Harry said. “But you know, 3rd date, maybe…” He hinted, and then winked, making me laugh.
“Depends how good the date is mate.” I said.
“Well, I was thinking bowling, and then back to my place.” He suggested.
“Yeah, I’ll make a deal with you, you win, and we go to second base, I win and we stay at first, deal?” I proposed.
“Yeah, it’s on!” He laughed.
“Looking forward to it,” I smiled and then Maisie walked in. “Hey Mais,” I said and she looked at my phone and froze.
“Is that him?” She asked.
“Yeah, you wanna talk to him?” I offered the phone to her.
“Are you sure?” She questioned.
“Why not, I’m going to go and get a drink anyways.” I handed her my phone and went downstairs to get water. I went back up a few minutes later and Maisie was still talking to Harry. “Hey, my turn again, get your own date.” I took the phone off of her.
“Bye Harry!” Maisie said and left my room, and I lay back down on my bed.
“She’s sweet,” Harry said to me.
“I know, what did she say?” I asked, curiously.
“She was just talking about the band and stuff, nothing bad.” He smiled.
“Okay,” I nodded.
“Anyway, I’m gonna win bowling, so get ready for 2nd base.” Harry smirked.
“How do you know that I’m not amazing at bowling?” I countered.
“Because if you were you’d be putting 2nd base on it, because I know as well as you do that you want to go there,” He laughed. He can read me so well. “The end of the last date kind of gave it away babe. You left me so turned on at the end of that night,” He reminded me.
“Sorry, you’ve got a hand haven’t you?” I joked.
“Yeah, and I used it,” he winked. We’ve been flirting all week, and I love it. It’s casual, but the more we get to know each other, the more comfortable we get. I feel like I could share almost anything with him right now.
“Well I’m glad you put it to good use.” I laughed.
“Maybe you can use your hand next time,” he smirked.
“Stoooppp, you’re turning me on,” I covered my face.
“Sorry,” he laughed and Austin walked in.
“I know you’re totally not having an innocent conversation right now, but dinner is ready.” Austin said and I nodded.
“I’ll call you back after dinner, byee,” I waved at Harry and hung up. I went and had dinner and got changed into my pyjamas before calling Harry back.
“Hey,” he answered, now shirtless. “Looking good, stand up,” Harry said and I stood up as he whistled. “You’re so hot.” He said.
“Why thank you,” I laughed, pretending to twirl my hair around my finger even though it was tied up. We talked for about an hour before we both decided to go, get ready for bed and go to sleep.

“SISSA!” Freddie jumped on my bed to wake me up.
“Hey,” I opened my eyes slowly, stopping him from jumping on me.
“C’mon Alyssa, it’s your sister’s birthday,” Mum said from the doorway.
“I know, I’ll be down in about half an hour,” I told her and she nodded, taking Freddie back downstairs with her. I got out of bed, showered and got dressed and ready for the day, and then got Maisie’s present out of the bag I brought it in. I went downstairs with my vlogging camera and gave it to her, filming her opening it.
“Oh. My. God.” She said, as she ripped the paper to reveal the YSL bag she’s wanted for ages. “I love you!” She hugged me and I laughed.
“I know you’ve wanted it for a while now, so I got you it. Happy Birthday!” I hugged her again and turned off my camera.
“Was this your doing too?” She showed me the notification which said ‘@Harry_Styles is now following you!’.
“Not at all, he probably found you on my account and he knew it was your birthday today so decided to surprise you,” I smiled at how thoughtful that was. I got my phone out and texted him as I ate my breakfast.
To: Harry:): Thank you for following my sister today, you may have made her birthday :*
From: Harry:): No problem, have a good day, talk to you later x
Once I’d had my breakfast, I did the intro to my vlog, I’ll just edit it so that the bit I’ve already filmed is after my intro.
“We’re going out today and won’t be back before 6 so edit and upload your vlog now please,” Dad said and I nodded, getting my laptop and sitting at the kitchen table to edit it. I edited a few bits out where Maisie was hinting at a relationship and then uploaded it. It took about an hour to get it all finished, and in that time everyone else got ready. We went to quite a few of Maisie’s favourite places and it was a really good day and Maisie really enjoyed it. It’s great having family time.

Next up, third date! What do you reckon is gonna happen? I hope you're enjoying reading this story as much as I'm enjoying writing it. I'm really far ahead on this story but quite far behind on my other one which is why updates for both are quite slow. I'm trying to focus on 'My Saviour' at the moment but that one is coming to an end so once that is completed, I promise all focus will be on this because I'm not writing any more at the moment.
