One Year Ago
Niall's POV
“Mmm.. Ni.’’ Jana whispers as I fall gently beside her, putting my arm around her torso as she still lies on her back. ‘’You okay baby?’’ I mumble. ‘’Yeah.. do you think we.. we succeeded this time?’’ she asks in a sigh. ‘’I hope. We’ve been trying.. at least we know we have all the time now.’’ I mumble back, just getting a nod in response from her.

Jana and I were on our honeymoon. We had two days left, and we were trying to get pregnant. She straight out asked me if I wanted another baby right after we finished our first night here at the beach house. I took her to Hawaii and she loves it.

So, we went along with our agreement. Unprotected sex the entire time we’re on this island, and until we can get pregnant. But so far, five days in, we haven’t succeeded.

“I really.. really want this.’’ She mumbles gently. ‘’Me too, baby.. me too.’’ I reply, agreeing with her needs. ‘’You just.. have to try harder.’’ She sighs out. I furrow my eyebrows to myself. ‘’Me? There’s only one thing I can do, Jana.. and you know that. Your body has control of the rest.’’ I say, not trying to start an argument, I just want her to not depend on entirely me during this ongoing process.

‘’Can we not… start this?’’ Jana mumbles. ‘’Yeah.’’ I sigh back, just forgetting it all, even if she started it. I was sorta ready to get back home, but yet I wasn’t at the same time. Going home had its advantages and disadvantages..

Advantages: I get to see my beautiful kids. I get to be at home, in my own bed. Disadvantages: Less “alone” time with Jana. No privacy. No peace.

But at the same time, I wanted to go home more than I did want to stay here. I miss my babies. We’ve been gone six days, one spent on the flight. And we won’t be back until 3 more days.

Jana and I got married on March 31st. We had a small, personal, private wedding. The guests were our closest friends and family. We tried to keep it out of the media, and surprise… we succeeded at it! No one had a clue. It was a total surprise. But I allowed myself, and Jana, to post pictures just after it was over. It was the best day of my life.

I can now call Jana my wife. Not my girlfriend, not my fiancée, but my W.I.F.E. And to me, that’s a big word. Its got a lot to it. A lot. But I assure you that it’ll never get old.

My life has extremely changed. But for the better. I’ve learned to appreciate what I have. Jana and I are very lucky to have our kids, our friends, and our family in our lives. Without my mom, or Harry, or Sophia, or Liam, or any one else.. we might not be married right now.

Besides, if you have everything in the world.. what more could you ask for?
