Don't wanna be without you

Harry and I found a small bench in the park and took a seat together. He placed his muscular arm around me, making me feel protected. We sat and chatted for hours on end and learned a lot about each other, including our interests and he told me about his family. He had a sister called Gemma and she sounded lovely.

"so Soph, have you left school yet?"

I sighed loudly as it reminded me of Ashley and the others. I literally had no friends because I was extremely independent at school and I still am a bit.

"yeah, thank god"

"why so happy?"

I had to quickly come up with an excuse and I don't think Harry believed me...

"I, uh, um, I just found it boring"

"oh"

We then heard some girly giggles from around the corner and I started to panic as I remembered those voices from school. The girls came round the corner and it was Ashley and her friends, Katie and Mia. I tired to hide myself by putting my hand in front of my face. I heard them scream as they ran over to Harry but they hadn't noticed me yet because I still had my hand over my face.

"Hey girls" Harry said as he took pictures with them.

"Who's this?" Mia asked eagerly.

"my girlfriend. She's beautiful isn't she?" Harry replied in a friendly manner as he took my hand that was in front of my face and wrapped his fingers around mine.

Their faces seemed shocked but they did not criticise me, they just agreed with Harry but I wasn't stupid. She sent me the text saying that she would get Harry. She wouldn't horrible because she won't get him that way. She had to act nice although she isn't.

"hey girl!" Squealed Ashley.

"hi" I mumbled back with no emphasis.

"well, it was nice seeing you Harry, see you around" Ashley said as she gave him a sexy wink as Harry smirked at her.

"what lovely girls" Harry told me, squeezing my cold hand.

"yeah..." I replied.

How many more times is she just going to bump into me like that out of the blue, like seriously.

"Let's go back to mine" I told Harry. I tried to make it more of an order but luckily he agreed.

"ok babe"

We both got up and walked hand in hand home in silence. Rather awkward to be honest but what wouldn't be awkward after you just bumped into your worst nightmare, only to find out that they were acting nice towards you in front of your famous, kind, caring, hot, sexy, funny, amazing, committed boyfriend?

We we got in and I could sense from the atmosphere that my mum was not home from work yet. She must be working late.

"What's wrong babe?" Harry asked quietly as he came up to me from behind to wrap his arms around my waist.

"Nothing, I'm just tired"

"no you're not, I'm not stupid Soph"

"I'm fine"

"the word 'fine' means 'I hate my life' or something like that in a girls world. Tell me"

"now isn't the time Harry"

"you can tell me anything Sophie"

"I know"

"then tell me"

I sighed. Deep down I knew that this is the right time to tell him about Ashley, Katie and Mia but I just didn't know how to.

"you know the girls we met at the park?"

"yeah"

"well... they used to bully me at high school"

"what? But they were so nice to you, especially the one called Ashley"

"oh god, no Harry. They were just putting on an act"

"why would they do that?"

"because... I suppose they are right. I am ugly and fat"

"they said that to you?"

I just nodded as I felt too ashamed to say anything else. I didn't know whether I should of told Harry or not but I feel stupid now. I felt a burning hot tear stream down my cheek and I just couldn't face Harry anymore. I ran upstairs to the bathroom, which was the only room with a lock on the door and locked myself in. I heard Harry shout my name behind me but I ignored it and kept running. I couldn't let Harry see me like this, crying and in a state so I had to get away but I felt like I just made the biggest mistake of my life. I knew I shouldn't have told him. I should've kept it to myself but it felt like it just came out.
