Visiting Day.
Niall POV
This has got to be one of the happiest days of my life right now I am going to see Angel, Rose and Debbie this is the day that they get to visit me in my camp. It has been well over 2 months since I have seen anyone of my family, and I couldn’t even sleep last night because of the excitement.
The families of my fellow soldiers started coming in, I was actually smiling and happy for all of them because they get to spend a little bit of time with them I saw Angel and Debbie walking across the entrance door my little angel ran to me. She looks even more beautiful than the last time I saw her my God the way that a parents feel after seeing their kids for a long time is really unexplainable the amount of joy it feels to become a parent brings such an overwhelming sense of joy in my life. I looked up at Angel’s face and kissed her forehead and hugged her again, I didn’t want to let her go.
Debbie: “Niall my God it has been a long time since I have last seen you, it looks like you lost a lot of weight you should eat more.” I gave Debbie a huge hug and a kiss on her forehead as well it is good to see Debbie doing well with her cancer, I was looking for Rose but I cannot seem to find her.
Angel: “Mom said that she cannot make it dad because she has an important meeting with her client.” I was sad because I wanted to kiss my wife’s lips and see her again, but I guess she was extremely busy with work.
The whole time that Debbie and Angel were visiting me I couldn’t help but smile and laugh at their stories, especially Angel’s my baby is experiencing her first crush in school my little baby is growing up now.
Angel: “Daddy mommy couldn’t stop talking about you every single day before I go to sleep mommy would tell me how much she misses you, she just cannot make it today but she really does love you as much as I do.”
4 hours later
I hugged Angel and Debbie goodbye as I waved at my little girl my heart broke down a little bit I was hoping I would see Rose again, but I guess she was really busy that she couldn’t make it so I will try and understand her.
Right now I have the energy and love that will keep me going on till the end, I am not homesick anymore I don't miss my family anymore because they all look healthy and that makes me so happy so now I can focus and concentrate more.
