Niall POV

2 days Later

I barely ate or had gotten any sleep because all that I could have ever think off was Rose, Debbie keeps on calling me regularly whenever she gets the time off work. I am travelling to Iraq in 3 days before I go, I just want to hear my wife’s voice one last time.

Alexander: “Mate listen Luntenant Greg said you could go back home and rest, until your wife is okay he completely understands your pain.”

Me: “Alexander mate I am doing all of this sacrifices for my families future and stability, I have been fighting for my country for 5 years I am not going to stop right now. I just want to hear my wife’s voice right now, that will give me all the motivation I need to go to Iraq and come back home to my family again.”

After a short conversation between Alexander and I, someone called me and said I had a phone call it was from Debbie. She told me that she is still in coma but she is breathing fine, and that I can talk to her and she will be able to hear my voice.

Me: “Rose Jesus… I cannot believe I am not with you right now by your side, when you need me the most I am not there. Baby please let me hear your voice once more so I can be at peace, I have not slept since this happened to you. I am sorry for not being there when that happened to you, do you remember our first song we heard together when we just met?. All I want is nothing more to hear knocking at my door, cause if I could see your face once more I could die a happy man for sure. If you loved me why’d you leave me, take my body, take my body, all I want is and all I need is to find somebody, I’ll find somebody.” As I stopped singing the song I could hear her breathing through the phone so peacefully it was like she was smiling at me, I just felt it I couldn’t hold back my tears from crying.

Before I met Rose I was a lost soul I did not believe in true love because I got heart broken so many times, then that one time I decided to go to a bar with my friends that was when the love of my life was found. This song means so much more to me now more than ever, before I always sleep at night I would sing this song to my two angels and just sleep a happy man.

God if you are hearing my prayers right now I am begging you to make her awake again, just before I head to Iraq one simple laugh or hello can make me fight stronger than I have ever had ever.
