“Hey Blue, you want to go to a party at Liam's house? It's gonna be sick,” Milo said, looking up from his phone. He heard a groan from the kitchen, seeing her come into the living room.
“When is it,” Blue asked, bending over to throw her sandy brown hair into a ponytail.
“It starts at eight, but you know Liam, no one will leave until 1 am,” Milo replied. Liam was always the party boy in high school, and now that he wasn't in school at all and lived in a house on the beach alone, parties were quite the common event at his house.
“Okay, but I have work at the diner tomorrow, so we need to leave by midnight, okay?” Milo waved her off, agreeing.

“Milo, my man,” Liam greeted, patting Blue’s roommate on the back. “And Ms. Blue– didn't expect to see you here. How's working three jobs?”
Blue smiled sarcastically. “Great. How've you been, Trust Fund Child?”
Liam held out his arms, and Blue embraced him in a big bear hug. Milo, on the other hand, stood there not understanding their relationship at all.
“Oh, Blue, I should warn you before you before you going further into the party looking like that–” Liam pointed at the girl’s mini dress and smokey eyes– “Styles is here, by the way. So stick by someone.”
Blue groaned. “Liam! You know he's been creeping on me, why'd you do that!” Liam grinned, much like the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland, and submerged back into the crowd.
Milo had left as well, leaving Blue to fend for herself.
