As we all sat down to where we were originally Harry pulled Tahlia close to his chest but Tahlia pulled away slightly, trying to make it obvious to him that she is upset. Niall and I cuddled together to watch the end of the movie and the rest of the couples still sat snuggling together. The movie came to an end about half an hour later and then I realised that… my mum was still at the hospital.
“Oh my gosh! Its 1:00pm and I am meant to be picking up mum from the hospital at 10 past”
“Do you want me to drive you there?”
“If you could, that would be great thank you” I said as I kissed Niall on the forehead.
As Niall and I made our way to the hospital I asked him if he would like to join me on discharging mum just in case there was any bad news and I needed his soft warming hugs.
“Sure I’ll come with you but what are you going to say if she’s asks who I am.”
“I’ll just tell her that you are someone I met last night and that im falling for… you” I said as I reassured Niall.
“Babe you are so cute I think im going to marry you” Niall said jokingly.
I giggled and walked into the hospital and to the room where my mum was while clutching on to Nialls soft gentle hands.
“Hey mums, sorry im late, how are you?” i said as i saw mum laying on the bed.
“Hey honey, I’ve been better, how are you? And oh who is this?”
“This is Niall; I met him last night when Tahlia and I went out”
“Hi Mrs Sinnott, I’m Niall and it’s so good to meet you” Niall said politely
“Aw it’s so nice to see that you have met someone Macy, and Niall call me Jane”
Niall smiled.
“So mum what’s wrong, what did your scan come back with?” I asked as Niall and I sat closely together on the Couch.
Mum looked out the closest window and then back over to me and stated quietly, almost under her breath “Macy Baby, I love you so much and I wish I didn’t have to tell you this but… I have been diagnosed with Cancer. The doctors don’t know what caused me to faint but the scan results have shown that i am cancer positive, I will be in hospital for the next week to start my first round of chemo”
I looked into her big blue eyes and then into Nialls eyes and sat there in shock. I eventually got up and sat beside mum and hugged her as tight as possible. She announced that she was feeling tired and needed some rest so I lightly kissed her on the cheek and walked out to the car. We drove home and continued to walk inside to where we had left the rest of the group to find them all still sitting in the same positions but watching a different movie, Charlie st Cloud.
“Hey guys, do you mind if I give the rest of this movie a miss? I think I want to go lie down” I said quietly.
“Macy do you want time to yourself or don’t you want me to come” Niall asked.
“If you want to watch the rest of this movie Niall then you can stay but if not yes could you please come”.
“Sure babe” Niall sweetly replied.
I held on to Nialls hand and smiled to signal a thank you and walked up to my bedroom. Niall sat down and I rested my head on his thighs as I looked him in the eyes and felt tears build up in mine. He moved the lonely strand of hair that was across my cheek and tucked it behind my ear. He made me feel so special.
We sat looking at each other for almost 5 minutes and then a small tear rolled down my face. I left it because I knew there would be more but Niall softly whipped it away. I got up and kissed Nialls delicate lips and ran my hands through his beautiful blonde hair. I stopped and pulled away, I thought maybe I should go down stairs and dismiss the rest of the group, I didn’t want to let them think that they had to stay.
“Guys whenever you’re ready you can leave you don’t have to stick around, I’m sure im no fun right now”.
“The movie has just finished so I think we might go” Harry, Tahlia, Zayn and Perrie said as they got up and hugged Niall and I goodbye.
Louis, Eleanor, Liam and Danielle all offed to stay and help clean up; I accepted the offer and started to grab the rubbish of the floor. I have calmed down abit now as I have realised there is nothing I can do to help mum, I can’t cut out the cancer, and I can’t wish she didn’t have it, all I can do is be there for her, right?.
Well anyway, I eventually got over it and said good-bye to everyone. Niall walked slowly and made his way to the car but as everyone else drove away in their cars Niall turned around and pierced me in the eyes with his beautiful blue orbs.
“Niall aren’t you going to go? I giggled.
“I can’t”
“What do you mean you can’t?”
“I can’t leave you here by yourself”
“Yes you can Niall I will be fine, if I need you I will text or call you I promise”
“Okay Babe, I’ll see you soon” he said as he slightly smirked and blew me a kiss.
I walked inside and started to cook myself some dinner. While the Potatoes were cooking I thought maybe I should give my mum a call, just to see how she is and if she wants me to bring her anything, not because I want to have a cry and sook about it. I gave her a call and spoke for almost an hour and afterwards went to bed. The next morning I woke up happy and ready to start a new day, the beautiful sun was shining and the birds were singing. Straight away I sent Niall a text and asked what he was doing on this fine day.

Hey babe, what are you up to today? How does the beach sound? We could get Harry and Tahlia to come as well x

Niall replied almost 15 minutes after…

Sounds good to me beautiful, you text Tahlia and I’ll ask Harry when he gets out of the shower x

MESSAGE TO: Niall Baby xxx
Okay let me know what Harry wants to do then xx

I texted Tahlia and while I waited for her reply I went for a shower and got ready for the day by putting on a short pair of pink pants a bikini top and an over shirt. I painted my long nails a soft pink and put on my make-up. Tahlia replied and met me at my house. Niall and Harry arrived in Harry’s red Farri
We made our way to the beach.
