NIALLS P.O.V
Macy and I have been together for a year now and the best thing happened to us a couple of months back, we have had a beautiful daughter together. Scarlett brought Macy and I closer in so many ways and in my heart I know it’s time.
The waitress arrived at the table Macy and I were at with our meals, “Thank you very much” Macy and I said together.
While we took our first bite of our food we remained quiet. I could feel my hands begin to sweat, wow is I really that nervous? I stopped what I was doing when I noticed she was staring at my hands.
“Are you alright babe?” she asked with a giggled behind her words.
“Yes, im fines, nothing wrong with me, are you alright?” shit Niall where did that come from?
She nodded her head and looked back down to her food with a confused look on her face. Shit.
We both eventually finished our meal “Macy will you excuse me for a minute, I need to go to the
bathroom”. She nodded her head and I made my way towards the kitchen. Now’s my time.
MACYS P.O.V
While Niall went to the bathroom I thought I would quickly text Tahlia to see if everything was going aright with Scarlett, yes the paranoid mother has gotten the better of me.
To Lee Lee:
How is my Princess going? She behaving?
From Lee Lee:
She’s being an absolute Angel, just told Harry the news, he’s over the moon!
To Lee Lee:
? What! What news? What are you not telling me?
From Lee Lee:
Tell you later bye xxx
I decided to let it go and wait till tomorrow when I picked Scarlett up. Niall is still in the bathroom and I am beginning to feel a bit impatient. After almost 5 more minutes of waiting he finally sat back down at the table.
“Finally!” I giggled
“Sorry gorgeous, there was a bit of a line”
“Oh that fine, this place is a little bit fancy for lunch don’t you think?”
“I wanted today to be special” he replied with a nervous smile on his face.
“Special is exactly what it is, thank you Niall.”
He took my hands in his “I love you Macy”
“I love you too Niall”.
A few seconds past of Niall and I looking into each other eyes until the gaze was broken when the waitress returned with too plates in her hands which looked like dessert was being served.
She gave Niall his first and then mine.
I looked at my plate and then back a Niall, a single tear ran down my face as I saw the small pavlova in the middle of the plate surrounded by red rose petals and red icing ink that read the words of ‘will you marry me?’ with an open box that held a beautiful diamond ring in the middle. He took hold of my hands once again and locked eye contact with me, “I love you Macy, will you marry me?” by this time tears of happiness were rolling down my face, I let out a big sigh and nodded my head, “yes Niall, yes I will! I love you”
