I haven’t seen my mum in almost 5 months. Considering she’s in hospital fighting cancer it seems pretty rude I haven’t gone to visit, but the past year has been so busy with Scarlett and Niall going away on tours. Today is Niall and I’s 1 year anniversary and I was hoping before we go out I could go and see my mum.
NIALLS P.O.V
It’s been 2 months since the miscarriage Tahlia and Harry suffered and it’s also been 1 year Macy and I have been together. Its only 9am in the morning and I want to spend all day and all night with her. I decided to send Harry a text to see if him and Tahlia are alright to babysit her today and tonight while we have some alone time together.
To Hazza:
Hey mate, today is Macy and I’s 1 year anniversary and I wanted to spend all today and tonight with her, do you mind looking after Scarlett while we go out? Cheers
Niall.
I received a text back from Harry confirming that it’s alright for him and Tahlia to look after my girl. I made my way upstairs to pack a few things for Scarlett then I went into my room to let Macy know what my plan is.
I ran into the room with Scarlett and sat down beside her “Get ready my beautiful we’re going out”.
“I’ll go have a shower and you get Scarlett ready” Macy smiled.
“She is ready”
“No she’s not, she’s still in house clothes, get her in something nice” Macy demanded in confusion.
“Nope, she’s straying at Tahlias night, I’ve already organised it all, im taking you out”
“No, she can’t what if Tahlias not ready to look after a baby?” she questioned.
“is she wasn’t ready, im sure she would have said no babe so please go get ready”
Macy sighed and made her way to the bathroom.

We dropped Scarlett of at Harrys an hour later and headed out straight away.
“Niall, can we please pull into the hospital? I want to see mum, it’s been 5 months since I’ve seen her, she probably thinks im the worst daughter ever!”
I nodded my head and made a right turn towards the hospital.
Macy and I walked hand in hand through the entry. We walked through the long corridor to Macy’s mum’s room. As I went to open the door a nurse took hold of my shoulder.
“My we have a word?” she questioned.
“Sure”
A worried look spread over Macys face as I noticed how pale she was going. Please Jane, please be alright.
“I would just like to inform you both that Jane has gone into a critical state, she is alive but won’t wake up, and her heart beat it faster than usual. We do not yet know why this has happened until we get back her test results.”
Macy’s eyes were filled with tears.
“Can we see her?” Macy asked
“Sure can” the nurse confirmed.
We all got up. “Do you want me to wait out here until you’re ready?”
She nodded her head yes.” Just give me 5”
I nodded in return and turned around and sat down on the chairs.
MACYS P.O.V
I popped my head in the door and quietly walked inside and sat down on the chair beside her. I grabbed her hand in mine and tears rolled down my cheek.
“Hey mum, it’s Macy, im sorry I haven’t seen you in so long, everything has just been so busy and I have lost track of time… Niall and I have been together for a year told and we are really happy, Scarlett is 5 months now, she’s getting so big. She really can’t grow up without her Grandma, please mum, and hang in there, for Scarlett…for me and Niall. Tahlia and Harry were expecting their first child 2 months ago but they suffered a miscarriage, they found it really difficult to stay strong, especially Tahlia, she needs her second mm I think, so please, wake up and come back to us. I love you mummy.”
I sat in silence for a few seconds before letting go of mums hand a getting Niall to come in.
TAHLIAS P.O.V
After Niall dropped of Scarlett. Things were quiet. Scarlett was tired and I must admit Harry and I were as well so we put her down for a small nap. She was asleep for almost an hour before she woke up in a hysteric scream which I assume she was having a nightmare. I jumped up from the couch and ran to the other side of the lounge room to where she was. In a matter of seconds I had her settled but could not get her back to sleep no matter how hard I tried. Time for plan B.
“Harry what do you say about going to the park on the corner?” I asked with a smile across my face.
“Sure love, but why are you so hyper?”
“Yay! Oh… I think it’s just one of those days you know?”
We put a few things is a bag and put Scarlett in the pram has we made our way down the street to the park.
Harry held Scarlett down the slide first and the smile on their faces was beautiful. I can’t wait to
tell Harry my news.
After 2 goes of the see-saw multiple slides of the slide and several rounds of the other play equipment I suggested it was about time to go one the swing. I strapped Scarlett into the baby seat and Harry began to swing her lightly.
“Tahlia the smile on your face hasn’t dropped all day, are you sure you’re alright?” Harry asked sounding a bit concerned.
“Yep! All good babey!”
We continued to push Scarlett on the swings for the next 10 minutes and her stomach laugh became louder and louder.
“You’re so special Scarlett! Yes you are” Harry said in a baby voice to Scarlett while tickling her feet.
“Since it might be awhile until we have our first child, she’s going to be my princess.” Harry said to me straight after.
“No need”
“What do you mean?” he asked surprised with my come back.
“Well wouldn’t you rather have your own daughter as your princess?”
“Yes but I don’t want to force you into trying again for a child”
“Harry don’t get angry at me but I knew you weren’t going to pressure me into trying again for another child so i poked a whole in the condom you wore last week”
A huge smile spread across Harrys face “So… we’re having another baby? A princess of my own?”
“Yes Harry we are but remember we don’t know if it’s a girl or boy yet. I wanted you to be there when we found out, I’ve already had 1 ultrasound and im 1 and a half months exactly” I smiled
while grabbing Harry around the waste.
“You’re amazing” Harry smirked.
“I know” I giggled back.
