The night that changed everything
What happened
2 months later.
Niall and I’s nights were getting easier and the mornings were getting longer. Scarlett was finally starting to sleep through the night. My small family were finally happy all day with no lack of sleep.
“Niall” I called from the kitchen as I was making bacon and eggs for breakfast while Scarlett was in the bouncer on the kitchen bench.
I waited a few seconds before Niall walked in.
“Yeah what’s wrong?” he asked with a worried look on his face.
I walked over to where he was standing and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Nothing’s wrong babey, just make yourself useful and text Harry or Tahlia and tell them to come over” I said before leaving a light kiss on his lips and went back to the stove where the bacon was cooking.
Nialls stare followed me back to where I was originally standing and moments later walked over to Scarlett.
“Your mummy is teasing me” Niall spoke just load enough for me to hear as he picked his daughter up out of the bouncer.
I smiled to myself and continued what I was doing. Niall made his way up stairs to put Scarlett to bed.

We had finished breakfast and I demanded Niall to clean up considering I cooked him breakfast.
I filled in time waiting for our visitors by cleaning up the house a little.
About 15 minutes later the front door bell rang.
I dropped what I had held in my hands and ran to the front door.
“Heyyyy! Come in! Our and who do we have here?”
“Liam! Zayn! Louis!” what are you guys doing here?” Niall screamed as he ran up behind me and pulled then all into a man hug.
Liam, Zayn and Louis had all been away. Liam and Danielle had been on a holiday for the past year and they met the other boys in Paris for their tour, Zayn and Perrie were with Zayns parents before the tour and were with Perries parents afterwards and Louis and Eleanor where on a modelling trip before and after the tour. So I had not met any of them besides Harry.
All the boys new about Tahlia being pregnant but Niall had said that only harry new about Scarlett.
“Nialls told me so much about you guys! Oh and im guessing you girls are Eleanor, Danielle and Perrie?” I smile as I welcome the 8 of them in.
“This is an amazing house” Louis blurted as he looked up to the ceiling.
I offered everyone a cup of coffee or tea before went into the kitchen to start making them all.
Our conversation started in an instant and we were all laughing and playing around in no time.
Second later Scarletts cry travelled through the baby monitor.
“What’s that noise?” Zayn questioned.
“That Zayn is what you call a crying baby!” Niall said sarcastically as he got up and began walking up the steps.
“WHAT?! You guys have had a kid?” Zayn yelled as he followed Niall to the room.
I stayed sitting on the couch as everyone beside Harry and Tahlia stared at me.
“Why didn’t you guys tell us?” Louis said pretending to be sad.
“I wanted to but Niall wanted to tell you guys when you got back” I replied.
“How old is she?”
“3 months” I clarified
Everyone smiled as we waited for the boys and Scarlett came back down.
“Hey everyone! Look who I have! Zayn yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
Everyone including Harry and Tahlia ran over a surrounded Zayn. I walked slowly behind and watch them all. I saw Niall walk towards me and put out my arms as I cuddled into his side. he lifted my chin with his soft fingers, looked me in the eyes and kissed me lightly on the lips.

10 of us all sat around Scarlett tickling her belly and feet, blowing raspberries on her stomach and playing helicopter with her. Smiles and sounds were coming from her mouth. When Liam finally got the chance to have his go with the little rascal no smiles nor no sounds came from Scarlett just a completely blank face but the one thing Liam didn’t do was put her down.
“C’mon baby… you can do it!” Liam whispered to Scarlett.
He tried everything, Funny faces, peek a boo, tickling. But nothing! She was just keeping a straight face!
“Liam… babe quit trying, she won’t do anything!” I said while laughing
“C’mon sweetie! Smile for Uncle Liam”
She stared to smirk
“C’mon sweeties smile for Uncle Liam!”
Liam started to tickle her on her stomach and seconds later she started laughing. Her first real stomachs laugh!
“Guys! She laughed! She laughed! Liam yelled as he picked Scarlett up again and gave her a tight but not too tight hug.
By this stage everyone was clapping and laughing!
I once again leaned over to Niall and kissed him on the lips but only more passionately this time.

The big hand hit 12 o’clock making it exactly 9pm and everyone had left. Scarlett was still wide awake so Niall decided to give her a bath while I had a shower all at the same time in the same room.
“That was an amazing night Niall! You never told me how cool they are! And how good they are with kids!” I spoke excitedly to Niall as I turned on the shower.
Niall laughed to himself and continued to watch Scarlett.
NIALL P.O.V
Macys picture perfect figure soaking wet as she ran the water through her long blonde hair. I was speechless. The amount of times I had seen her with nothing on, not once I have seen it like this. She spoke over the sound of the water hitting the tiles on the ground and all I could do in response was laugh to myself, why? I don’t know, but no words excited my mouth and I don’t know why.
“Your mummy is beautiful isn’t she Scarlett” I whispered quietly enough so Macy couldn’t hear.
I smile came upon her small allegiant face. I smiled in return and finished washing her legs before I removed her from the bath and wrapped her in a towel.
Macy finished up in the shower and quickly dried herself and put on nothing but an over-sized shirt.
I handed Scarlett over to Macy to dry her and dress her into her pink onesie while I got undressed and stepped into the shower.
Macy excited the bathroom and put Scarlett to bed. I finished my time in the shower and wrapped a towel around my lower abdominals. As I walked into the bedroom the sight of Macy on the phone to someone who at the moment was anonymous. I stared at her for a few seconds to think who it could possibly be and why they were calling at this time of the night. I walked into out walk in wardrobe and grabbed the closest pair of pants I could find before walking over to comfort Macy.
What could possibly be so bad to call this time of the night?
