I have just broken up with my boyfriend who I thought was the one. It’s been 3 months since this all happened and I am still spending my weekends locked in my room eating ice-cream, chocolate and all the other fatty foods I can think of. My best friend Tahlia is over for a while and is trying to convince me to go out and move on.
“Macy come on, it’s been three months and you are still feeling sorry for yourself. You need to get out and move on. You are single now; go and mingle.”
“I know, but I seriously thought he was the one and it is going to take me a while to get over him”
“I don’t care! You are coming out to the club with me tonight and we are going to find you someone even better then Dylan”
“No, im not coming”
“Oh really? That’s funny because… I already have a dress picked out, I’ve told your mum what we are doing and I have already made sure there will be sex gods there, so get out of bed and get ready!” Tahlia demanded
“ARRGGHH”
“Go!”
I get out of bed and went for a shower. While Tahlia puts on her make-up and does her hair. After half an hour in the shower, washing my long blonde hair and shaving my tan legs I eventually got out and put on my silver sequin dress and my shoes that are a shining silver and headed over to join Tahlia.

“Where’s the eye shadow?”
“Im using it”
“Hurry up” I said in a rushed voice
“Okay okay”
Tahlia starts a conversation with me expecting a friendly reply.
“Sooo do you think you will find someone cute tonight?” as she winks
“I’m only going because you are making me; I have no intension on finding someone” I snapped.
“Come on babe, don’t be silly, at least try”
I stayed silent as I put on my lipstick to try avoid the statement.
“I bet you any money, someone will come up to you tonight, I can just feel it”
“Let’s just wait and see”
Now that Tahlia is finished getting ready she waited for me to finish putting on my lipstick. We both head to the front door as I grabbed my keys ready to leave when I heared a loud bang coming from the kitchen.
As we both run to the kitchen, I saw my mum laying on the cold glossy tiles unconscious.
“Mum! Hello can you hear me”
“Should we call an ambulance?”
“Yeah quick, use the house phone”
Tahlia calls the ambulance
“Hello? Yes I need the ambulance to 19 Nando Street right away please my friends mum has collapsed”
*we will be there in 3 minutes*
“okay”
Tahlia let me know that they are on their way and begins to help. We are both shaking and aren’t 100% on what to do.
“I don’t know what could have happened. Maybe it’s a sign that we shouldn’t go out tonight and that something bad is going to happen while we are there”
“Don’t think that”
“What if it’s true?”
“If it is true we will both be alright if we stay together”
“Fair enough I guess” I said nervously.
The ambulance arrives and rushes in to my mum. She becomes conscious again soon after but is taken to hospital for tests and scans. Tahlia and I both went with mum just to make sure she is alright. When you get there the first test she is given is a blood test. Afterwards we stayed and chatted for a while on the dusty green lounge chair in the room.
“Girls im alright here, you go out and have fun”
“No mum we are going to stay with you”
“Macy, seriously I’m fine, go… have fun!”
“I will be back in 7 hours, are you staying here overnight or do you want me to come back earlier to take you home? ”
“No, I think they are keeping me here overnight, I have a cat scan first thing in the morning”
“Okay well im sure you will be asleep in 7 hours so I will just go straight home. Ill see you tomorrow, love you”
“Love you too sweetie, have fun but not too much”
“Yes mum”
We left the hospital room and then leave the hospital and Tahlia took me to the best night club in town. Things were quite for about an hour or so but then other people start to arrive and things start to get loud and wild.
“We have already been here for an hour, and I have seen no one decent, let’s just go”
“Give it time Macy”
i looked at the time on my white iPhone and states “i am giving it half an hour”
That half an hour has past and no one has been seen. Tahlia and I sat down at the bar and order 6 vodka shots, 3 each. We drank the shots and Tahlia all of a sudden stopped and spotted to extremely attractive guys.

Tahlia, being the wild and out there person she is, walked up and talked to them both.
She accidentally bumps into a young looking guy with thick brown curls, bright green eyes and two noticeable dimples in the middle of his checks.
“Oh im sorry” as she winks
“It’s fine”
From where I am sitting I notice his eyes scan Tahlia body up and down until their eyes connect again.
“Umm my name is Harry, and this is Niall”
“Hi im Tahlia, it’s nice to meet you guys, but can you excuse me for a minute while I get my friend, she’s at the bar”
“We’ll be here” Harry said out of his plump lips as he winks
“I’ll be back”
As Tahlia walks away to get me she turns to see Harry with a small smirk on his face looking her up and down once again. Tahlia makes her way over to where I am sitting and excitedly me about Harry and Niall and all the reasons why we should go back and talk to them. I fixed up my dress and hair and added some lip gloss and followed Tahlia to where the boys were.
“Hey Niall I want you to meet Macy ” Tahlia says loudly of the beating music.
“Ahh hi im Niall”
I could tell he was a bit nervous just like I was
“Yeah hey I Macy ” with a small smile
“Annnnd this is Harry” Macy says suddenly.
“Tahlia do you want to dance?” Harry says secretly to Tahlia.
“Yeah I like this song”
“Let’s go”
Tahlia and Harry walked away and you and Niall are left alone. Niall looks me up and down with his beautiful blue eyes and looked me in the eyes and asked if I wanted a drink.
“yes please, just 1 vodka shot please”
When Niall returned with the drinks we continued to talk and sooner or later we are both all over each other. Was it the drinks or was there a connection? I looked around for Tahlia and Harry but they seemed to have disappeared. I looked back into Nialls eyes and he winked and nodded his head to the side giving me the hint that we should leave.
When we got into the car I suggested going to my house as no one will be there all night.
I held Nialls hand as he made his way through the crowd and I lead him to my car. When you got to your house and pulled out your keys to the front door Niall winked at me and bite his luscious red lips. When we got inside He pinned me against the wall and started to kiss me passionately. I slowly made my way to my room when you here a loud noise. Both being so into the kiss you carry on into your room.
