More Than Words

“What’s up? He-he?” I said in a very plastic friendly method, I couldn’t act that was my character. He looked at me as we both sat down and he started talking: “Violet I don’t want to bother you tonight; if my presence is annoying you tell me so I can leave; I really don’t want to cause disturbance that’s all.” He spoke weakly as I felt his eyes are watering: I didn’t this to happen now please don’t cry! “Shut up Zaynster! Why would you say something like that!? Please relax, you know we have a past... and that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to be your friend!” I spoke spontaneously as I placed my palm on his hand that rested on his lap.

Zayn’s POV:

I don’t know why she was acting so friendly and happy. It was making me doubt that she is putting on this character just to show me that she isn’t hurt or annoyed by my presence. If only she knew how much I was torn all the way from London till I reached here. I only she knew how many times I had to hide my face and cry silently after she left me that day. If only I could tell her that I love her and what I did was foolish and stupid and that losing a girl like her is something worth dying for. But it is all IF and only IF situation. I know she’s hurt and making her speak with me now is killing her deep down slowly. Her palm placed over my hand just made me shiver and remember the days when our hands were never separated from each other. Why can’t I man up and tell her that I miss her and I want her back?! Why can’t I tell her that since she left me I couldn’t focus on anything anymore? All these endless questions were running through my mind as I gazed at how beautiful she looked tonight. I sat straight and I cleared a sigh as I gazed at her again and said: “I-I... psht this is hard... I missed you...really I did.” I stuttered as these words finally got out of my mouth and I looked at her deeply waiting for an expression from that glorious face to shine. “I missed you too Zayn ... can you relax I beg you?” She replied softly as she looked deeper in my eyes and gave me a seated light hug. I couldn’t not run my head across her hair as I smelled it passionately; that made her push back directly and smile at me weakly at me. I knew she didn’t want anything now from me, but I won’t give up on trying getting her back. I want her and only her. I was out of my mind not to rush after she left my room that day; instead I just picked her pillow and cried till I fainted.

Violet’s POV:

Zayn stop killing me with your words and actions right now; I can’t just jump over you and tell you I want you back, you need to apologise to how you dropped your trust. Even if I couldn’t ignore that I wanted you every second we spent it together now, I couldn’t give in easily. I flashed a big smile after a 5 minute awkward silence was exchanged between us as they gang headed to the table; laughing and catching a breath. “Why didn’t you dance Darling? I wanted to dance with you!” Louis gave me a funny baby pout as El smacked his shoulder and smiled wildly at me. “I was just sitting here, with um... Zayn, he didn’t feel like dancing so as the host I can’t see a sad person at my party! He-he “I sang my reply to Louis as he winked me cleverly as to tell me he knows why I truly wasn’t dancing. “Vie I need a drink please!” Niall said to me begging me cutely for a drink; I snapped my fingers to the waiters who came in with different drinks on a big tray and distributed them all over the table to the lovely crowd. They all grabbed a drink as Zayn took two and gave me a glass. I nodded and smiled at him in temptation and took a sip as he did.
