More Than Words

After a fair time of drive we reached the destination of La Faitte Five Hotel, where I always dreamed of visiting. I couldn’t stop gazing in amazement as we went down from the car and we headed inside. It was all painted in these expensive metallic colours (Gold and Bronze), as the big crystal chandelier was in glowing all over the reception area. Ginger and Jake Left me for 2 minutes as they handed to reception counter and got a confirmation to go inside. I still didn’t know what was going on and I was really excited. I knew that Ginger had obviously paid a lot and I didn’t even believe that all of this was for me.


We entered the hall and my eyes blew away as I saw it all decorated and a DJ was already warming his set as I entered. “I hope this for your liking girl!” Ginger said as she looked at me amazed and gave me a funny wink. I hugged her so tight and I kept jumping at the same time. She through a laugh as she grabbed my hand on all the way to the dance floor; Jake followed us running as he was laughing. We three were busting moves to these incredible beats that the DJ through after Giving me a shout out. I was dancing as happy as I could be; waving my dress left and right with my hip movement. “You know there are more people coming anytime by now.” Ginger told me as we caught a breath and sat down to relax a bit with a drink of sparkling water. I looked at her confused as I shrugged my shoulders; she just smirked cunningly and looked at Jake that smiled at us two.


“WHERE IS THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!?!?!” I heard a familiar funny voice as I looked at the door at Louis followed by all the gang!! I jumped from my seat as I looked at Ginger who couldn’t stop laughing as she saw my expression. “Guys!!? How did you... I mean when you did...?!” I yelled as I hugged Louis and all the rest so warmly. “Well, let us just party now shall we?” Harry gave me a cheeky smile as I hugged him tight. Dani and El jumped on me as they gave me a tight embrace and the cried singularly. “Happy birthday girlie!!” Niall yelled as he approached me and hugged me with warmth. “Li-Li!! Come here!!” I yelled at Liam as I grabbed him for a good welcoming hug with an endless smile drawn on my face. I looked at Zayn who was looking down on the ground; I smiled since I saw him at last. I wanted to jump on him and tell him that I want him back deep down as I saw him looking calm. He lifted his eyes and targeted them on me as he came closer and said: “Happy Birthday Violet; you look great.” His words were filled with a tiny depression as he kept gazing at me. I wanted to smack a big kiss on his lips and tell him I still love him; but I couldn’t. Everyone was looking at me waiting for me to reply to him, I quickly placed a hug on him lightly and I said: “Thank you for coming; really.” As calm as possible I voiced that to him as I stared at him while he tried to show me his light smile.


“Enough! Let’s all hit the dance floor please!!” Dani interrupted the awkward moment and grabbed my hand as El followed. The boys went to place the gifts on the table as they greeted Ginger warmly and Jake. I danced with El and Dani as I twirled accidently to see Ginger and Zayn whispering in each other’s ears and she patted his shoulder as they all then joined at the dance floor except him. What were they whispering about?! I left them all as they danced to the massive beats and I glided my way to the table where he was sitting; staring at his phone all alone. “What are you doing here? Come with me.” I talked to him directly as I reached; he shook his head as to tell me he doesn’t want to. “I’m not going to spend all night begging you to dance; please Zayn come with me?” I leaned my hand as he looked up at me deeply and smiled weakly as he took it and came with back with me to the dance floor to join the others as they all were dancing insanely. “Violet, I don’t want to... I mean I can’t just...” he spoke weakly as I placed my index finger on his lips and shushed him. I didn’t want him to feel any awkwardness anymore; I wanted him to loosen up and just enjoy the night as it lasts. I started dancing with him. Ginger gave me a wink in a funny way and made her way to us as we danced. “You turn my invite just seconds ago to dance but you come with Violet Ay? LOL!” She told him as his face was puzzled and he couldn’t say a single word to defend his situation. “He didn’t want me to be upset I guess, right Zayn?” I said playfully as he smiled shyly and nodded towards me. “Have fun Malik!” Ginger giggled as she nudged my shoulder; I understood what she was intending to mean by that (She wanted me to take it easy on him and just blend in.)


I quickly nodded at her and giggled as she returned to dance with Jake and the others. After dancing for a couple of minutes, Zayn approached me and he whispered in my ear: “Can we go sit down a bit?” I nodded directly as he grabbed my hand and we went to sit down on the table, leaving the guys dancing the night away and laughing.
