More Than Words

We reached the company and as soon as we did, we hopped out of the car rushing to Stina’s office holding up our pads and pens for the update session. “Girls, welcome, don’t bother telling me what happened since I got the email and your message Vie; go rest at your desks and finish your work.” Stina announced as soon as we entered her office; she sounded satisfied with our actions and how we took responsibility. We smiled and headed back to our desks as we finished all the rest of the work that was awaiting our touch for submission and then met up at 5:50 to leave together back home. “Have a nice evening and a pleasant sleep Mrs. Malik! LOL!” Ginger snapped a sarcastic joke as she hugged me for the departure’s sake. I laughed back as in my mind; I liked the sound of my married dream title. I went up to the bus as it parked and headed back home where I noticed as I entered that everyone was asleep early; strange I thought to myself. I rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower since today was too much of fun and excitement for me personally. Putting my sleep wear on and diving into my bed; I couldn’t stop thinking on how Zayn was acting towards me today, was this all real? Is it a possibility that he fancies me? I really didn’t want that lunch to end today since I grew him a bigger space of attachment in my mind, heart, and soul. “Ring! Ring!” my cell phone’s notification tone of a new text message interrupted all these unanswered questions that I was thinking about.

“I just wanted to tell you how thrilled I am that you accepted my invite and I also wanted to wish you a good night before you sleep; that is if u didn’t sleep yet, He-he! Oh well Violet, good night and please text me soon :) <3. ”

Am I the luckiest girl on earth or what?! Zayn your sweet soul and well intention just makes me want to tear my eyes from joy and hope in the world. I quickly wrote him a reply with a smile wide from the end of my left ear to the right:

“Why am I not shocked by your perfect behaviour and politeness Zayn? He-he! Trust me I am really thrilled for Saturday! I can’t wait and I am sure that it is mutual for Ging :) ; and I still didn’t sleep, im glad I didn’t so that I could read your message and sleep now. Goodnight Zayn, I hope you have a pleasant evening.”

I wasn’t even able to reply anymore because I was blushing so hard I couldn’t even focus on what am I supposed to say back, besides my jaw was paining as I didn’t notice how long have I been smiling till this second. I put my phone on the night stand beside my bed and twisted my head on the pillow and slept as I smiled.
