More Than Words

The light stroke my window and penetrated my eye vision as I blinked to open my eyes. I felt something strange around my waist as I took the covers lightly off and saw his artistic-soft arms wrapped on my waist. “Good morning.” He spoke and gave me the fright since I thought he was still asleep. “So he’s awake? And he knows that his arms are around my waist?!” I thought deeply as I turned to a very grumpy and hung over Zayn, but he managed to give me a sensational smile.




“Good morning; feeling better?” I spoke with my raspy morning voice, as I started to get up. His hands squeezed tighter not allowing me to get up. “Zayn, come on.” I said in a very calm voice. “You sure you want me to let you go?” He questioned sarcastically. I knew he meant let me go as in break up with me and not take his hands off of my waist. I didn’t reply as his mouth became straight shaped and he slowly loosened his grip; letting me go after he knew I was serious. “Hungry?” I stood up and talked to him as he was already up as well. “Sure.” He replied coldly. “Oh God Violet way to go you ruined the moment!” I thought after I heard his voice tone change. I opened the door and he followed me quietly as everyone was still asleep.





I quickly fixed him Eggs Benedict and a warm glass of coffee just to make the dizziness he felt disappear from the first sip. He sat down on the counter stool and watched me as I was serving him his plate and mug. “We need to talk Vie; really we do.” He said looking down at his plate as I was sipping my coffee; its time after all! “You know the reason of me being drunk is because off what happened yesterday; I-I ... I just didn’t want to hurt you, and I did eventually.” He stood up and came around to my position as he spoke slowly.





“I beg you can you forget the Zayn you saw yesterday at night and just come back to the Zayn standing in front of you now?” He asked as his palms cupped my face softly. I was really confused and I stood as still just looking at his brown mesmerizing eyes that reflected my face in them artistically. “Zayn I don’t know ... I mean I really can’t keep on having problems with you every now and then; I just felt that you didn’t trust me as much I did, and this is the second time...” I spoke in honesty and he was preparing himself for a tear or two. “I was a fool and I didn’t understand that you didn’t tell me only for the sake of not upsetting me at that moment; still I fell insanely angry since I didn’t have the chance to be told from the beginning...” He wrapped his arms all over my body and he spoke as our faces were inches away from each other. “I know, and it is my fault as well; we both were mistaken. I just want you to know that I love you till this moment, but I can’t be better in directly, I just need a bit of space that’s all for now...” I replied as my logic started to take control instead of my heart for once.




“....I understand ... If you think this is the best for you to become better, then just take as much as space as you want baby; I ju-just ... don’t want to lose you. At least you still love me.” He hugged me and I hugged lightly as I dropped it after 2 seconds and smiled weakly. I truly needed time jus to prove to him that I deserve to be trusted as much I trust him; he has to learn this now or never later on. It was the right decision, and I knew that it will be awkward between us since no more physical contact will be found between us; he will be like the Christmas present I am not allowed to open for now.
