Through the Dark

Liam and I have spent most of the afternoon out on the deck. It’s a beautiful place for me to write. The amazing view, listening to the ocean, it is quite inspiring. Of course the incredibly handsome man sitting a few feet away inspires me as well.
I’ve written a couple chapters when I look up and see Liam looking at me. The look on his face causes my breath to catch in my throat. He’s looking at me with so much love in his eyes. As though I am the most beautiful woman in the world. As though no man has ever loved a woman as much as he loves me. My heart swells. It may burst. I’ve never felt this degree of love before. Nothing even close. I can’t imagine a life without Liam by my side.
Liam’s eyes grow dark now. Knowing how badly he wants me…..overwhelms me.
He stands and walks over to my side. Taking my hand, he gently pulls me out of my chair. He stares into my eyes. I swear his eyes, the shade of a perfectly aged brandy, can see through
to my soul.
He whispers in my ear. “I love you Lex, and I want you now.” Between the sexy sound of his voice and the heat from his breath on my ear, I loudly gasp.
Liam smiles before his lips meet mine. A few gentle kisses are quickly followed by firm, passionate kisses. This time it’s my tongue doing the prodding. Liam happily accepting it, tugging on it with his teeth. I moan loudly against his lips. Thank goodness he’s holding me tightly in his arms or I’d be on the ground. My legs buckling from pleasure.
I pull Liam’s shirt over his head and toss it aside. Running my hands over his perfect chest, which never fails to take my breath away. Then I run my nails down his back as he kisses my neck. The harder he kisses the deeper my nails go.
He moans in my ear before unzipping my dress and letting it fall to the ground.
Liam kisses me, taking my bottom lip between his teeth before pulling back. He places the sweetest kiss on my forehead, then tells me quietly. “I’m so glad I found you, Lexi.” I smile as I place my hand on the side of his face. Taking in the intoxicating difference between his manly whiskers and super soft lips.
Liam’s hands start at my shoulders, then slowly, sensually slide down to the back of my thighs. Lingering there for a moment before his strong arms lift me. I wrap my legs around his hips, and my arms grip his shoulders, as he carries me to the bedroom.
