She Makes Me Happy

Harry’s POV
I was patiently waiting for Cheyenne to show. She and I had planned this little get-together late last night while texting each other. That was sorta our thing now, I guess. I didn’t specify if it was a date or not, just meeting up. But perhaps, she’ll agree to something else later on in the upcoming hours.. And no, I’m not being dirty. I’m being serious.
About fifteen minutes had passed, I was on the verge of giving up. But I stayed strong and kept staring at the door with my RayBans on, I didn’t want to risk any one getting a close up glance at me and being able to know who I am.
At times, I hated this life. I couldn’t do anything. No matter where I was. But yet, if I have never had this life, I would not have ever met Cheyenne. And when I’m with her, its just like all my troubles fade away and all my depressing thoughts just drift off. She makes me happy. She makes me calm.
I hear the bells on the door jingle and I look up. Through my dark lenses, I see Cheyenne’s beautiful self. God, she looked amazing. She always looks amazing to me, though. She looks in my direction and smiles as she quickly walks over to the table I’m at.
‘’You’re late,’’ I smirk a little as she sits down beside me, a move I didn’t expect from her so quickly.
‘’Sorry. Niall ran into me in the hotel hallway and he wouldn’t shut up…’’ She sighs out, sitting her purse on the table and sticking her phone back inside of it.
‘’Its alright. I almost got caught up too, Liam and I came out of rooms at the same time. He asked all these questions, I tried to come up with something.. hoped it worked though,’’ I mumbled that last little part to myself.
‘’So, have you ordered any drinks yet?’’ She asks me, raising her eyebrows as she looks over at me.
‘’Yeah. I got us some tea. I figured its way to hot to drink coffee in the middle of the day,’’ I tell her my thoughts on that.
‘’Yeah, I agree..’’
“You look nice.. in that shirt and all,’’ I say, trying to change the topic to something a tad less awkward.
“Thanks. I just threw it on. You sure it isn’t too bad?’’ She asks, looking down at herself, mainly at her stomach which was accented with a cute belly button ring, a pink infinity sign covered in rhinestones.
“You look wonderful, don’t doubt it.’’ I wink at her as she looks over at me for a second, but then soon she hides her face from me, her blushing was extremely red this time.
‘’Do I make you uncomfortable?’’ I ask in a whisper, hoping I didn’t.
‘’What? No. Of course not.. its just.. that.. the things you say.. are just-‘’
‘’I go too far, don’t I?’’ I cut her off accidently.
‘’No, Harry. Its fine.. a compliment is nice.. its nothing that bothers me at all,’’ she assures me by slightly touching my arm, turning her entire body towards me a little.
I look over at her. She moves her hand in embarrassment, redness on her cheeks.
“Anyways.. I was.. thinking that maybe.. we could go on a little.. date later on tonight..?’’ I say, questioning this.
‘’I.. um.. I dunno Harry. Everyone’s wanting to go out and.. I.. I just.. I dunno.’’ She shrugs, releasing a long sigh before looking back at me.
‘’Please? Cheyenne.. please?’’ I ask lightly.
‘’Oh-okay.’’ She stutters out of nervousness.
‘’Okay.’’ I smile lightly at her as she smiles back in shyness.
God, I love it.
9:07pm|| Acquerello Restaurant
Harry’s POV
I sigh gently as I get out of Paul’s car and begin the short distance to the door. I had asked him if I could barrow it, for the night. I lied and said I had some stuff to take care of. Well, it’s not really lying.
Anyways. Its ridiculous that me and Cheyenne can’t have a normal date. Well, that’s what I call this. She just refers to it as meeting up with me. But whatever.
My point is that I couldn’t even go get her from her hotel room, because we could have got caught. I had to sneak out, so I wouldn’t be seen by anyone. We decided to go a little late, to keep a low profile and so that the night can erase anyone’s confirming of seeing me, or her.
But still, I was thankful that the owner would allow us to stay a little after closing time, only if we were still eating. I had made reservations, and I really didn’t want to walk to a table alone.
I would look like a total loser in front of the people who are here.
So, I wait. I sit down on a small bench just inside the door. I stare out the window, hoping to see her soon.

I waited ten to fifteen minutes before I saw a taxi pull up closer to the door. I stand up once I’m positive that its Cheyenne. I got out the door just as she’s standing up. I smile gently as she looks at me, blushing like crazy.
‘’Harry..’’ She laughs lightly as I take her hand after shutting the door. I slip the driver some money through his open window. He thanks me, then drives off after me and Cheyenne had reached the door.
‘’You look amazing.’’ I mumble to her, getting a giggle from her and some more of that wonderful blushing.
I open the door for her and she goes in, ahead of me. We go to the hostess’s counter.
‘’Name please.’’ She says.
‘’Styles.’’
I watch as she looks at her computer screen. She glances up and nods, I assume she was confirming something she thought.
‘’Follow me,’’ She says, gesturing us towards her. I take Cheyenne’s hand again as I lead her to the table.
The woman brings us to the back, in the corner. That’s perfect. Alone, and quiet. The lights
were brighter in the corner, but I didn’t care any more. I just wanted to be with Cheyenne, besides, that’s all that matters.
