Arriving In San Diego

Cheyenne's POV
I stand patiently with the huge body guard beside me. Lou is meeting me at the airport to take me to the hotel. I’m in San Diego. I’ve never left home before, not to go off far like this. But I’ll have to get used to it.
The entire plane ride, I listened to music and kept to myself. I slept a few hours, but not many. It wasn’t that long anyways. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I reach for it. I check it.
Lou: We’re on our way. Sorry if we’re a tad late!
I just replied with an “okay’’ and carried on waiting. I was nervous that they wouldn’t like me. But at the same time, I was excited to do this. I have never felt so exciting before. My life has always been full of downs, never ups. But now.. because of Lou. I have an up in my life. I’m going to succeed, not fail.
My entire body was shaking. I was ready to start this new chapter of my life. I was completely okay with anything I’d have to do. I was just so ready to get it started.
I only had to wait about thirty minutes after I had gotten my text from Lou. The body guard told me they should arrive soon, so you could probably imagine how nervous I was. My heart was racing.
‘’Oh my god!’’ I heard a high pitched squeal and I glance up from my phone, pulling my ear bud out, I only had one in.
That’s her. That’s Lou! Oh my god. I smile brightly as she runs up to me and puts her arms around my neck, holding me tight.
I hold her tight back, my arms around her back. I didn’t know why she was so excited. Perhaps she was ready for me to start the job, too.
“I can’t believe its really you! Oh, Cheyenne. You don’t know how long I’ve waited to meet you! The past month has killed me!’’ She says with a sigh as we let each other go.
‘’I’m so happy I finally met you, too.’’ I laugh lightly as she fans herself with her hands, trying to calm down.
‘’Lou, next time.. Please don’t run so fast.’’ I hear a deep, raspy voice say and I peek over Lou’s shoulder to see some one I never thought I would ever met.
Harry Styles.
‘’Oh hush.’’ She rolls her eyes as she looks back at him.
“So, this is Cheyenne?’’ Harry asks Lou.
‘’Yep.’’ She nods back.
A few seconds later, Niall jogs up to Harry. I never thought I would ever met them, but I guess there’s a chance for any thing to happen.
“Damn, Lou. How can you run so fast in heels.. Shit. I almost feel twice,’’ Niall says, breathless almost.
‘’Stop swearing, you idiot.’’ Lou demands.
‘’Yeah, idiot. What if Cheyenne doesn’t like swearing. Did you think of that?’’ Harry says, mocking Lou’s parental attitude towards Niall.
‘’Shut up.’’ Niall huffs at Harry, crossing his arms on his chest.
‘’Anyways, Cheyenne.. We’ll get to the hotel as fast as we can. We’ll get your sleeping arrangements set up-‘’
‘’She can sleep in my room.’’ Niall cuts Lou off as he looks over at me and winks with a light smile.
‘’No. That’s a negative,’’ Lou says, ‘’like I was saying, we’ll get that set up. Then I’ll sorta talk you through the basics and all that wonderful, but stupid, stuff I have to do.’’
‘’Okay. Sounds like a plan.’’ I smile gently at Lou as I feel Harry and Niall’s eyes on me, so I try not to look at them.
I don’t really know what I just got myself in to, but yet.. I think it’ll be okay.
10:42pm
Lou finally finished telling me all sorts of things a few minutes ago. She explained the things we’ll do for the boys backstage, how to deal with them when they’re being disobedient, and stuff like that. She also told me that I will start to have my own hotel room, like she does. But for tonight, I have to sleep in her room.
She said she didn’t mind one little bit. I didn’t either. We’re both girls, so its not like it was a big deal. But of course, the boys freaked out and were saying immature, but funny, things about the sleeping plans.
The boys, oh dear, the boys. They’re amazing. I’ve only known them for a short time, but they’re still amazing people.
Louis is hilarious and he’s a joker for sure. He told me a lot about himself. He was just funny and I’m glad I got to meet him.
Liam is definitely the most laid-back of the four of them. He would make jokes, but he was still so chill. He didn’t disrespect me in any way at all. He always had a smile on his face while we were talking. He was so kind, it wasn’t even believable. He’s wonderfully amazing.
Niall is so funny. He is going to be a great friend, I know. He laughed our entire conversation. He told me funny stories that happened to them. He’s so funny. I can’t wait to experience one of those funny stories and witness one, too. I’m sure he’ll be good company.. no matter what.
Now.. Harry. Dear God, you made him perfectly. He was so perfect. His eyes, his dimples, his laugh, his smile. All of him. Harry and I probably had the best conversation. He asked about my family, I was honest. He told me about himself, asked me questions in which I gave him answers, and he was just so nice. He was flirty, too.
But I just don’t understand why I feel that way towards him. Why do I only see him? Only him? I only hear his laugh. I only hear his comments. I just don’t know. I guess I’m crushing on him.
Maybe this job won’t be as mad as I first thought… because so far, I was perfectly comfortable with everyone.
I get snapped out of my thoughts by Lou’s voice asking me something.
‘’Hey.. Cheyenne.. what you wanna watch?’’ She asks as she holds the TV remote in her hand.
‘’Oh, um.. I don’t know. Whatever you want.’’ I shrug gently as I stare down at my phone, scrolling through my contacts just so I can past Harry’s name and smile.
They all forced me to add their numbers, just incase, and besides.. they’re my friends, that’s what they said at least. So why not have their numbers? I can’t even judge myself in this topic… because there’s nothing to judge.
