July 18th|| 2:16am|| Tour Bus

Harry’s POV
I was lying in my bunk with my ear buds in. I was so tired, but yet I couldn’t go to sleep. Like what the fuck? I wanted to die, all because I couldn’t go to sleep. Ugh! Its stupid. I roll my eyes to myself as I sigh.

The song changes to Victoria Justice’s Make It In America. Don’t judge me, okay. She’s a good singer, and her songs are good. Besides, its my ears, my phone, and my interests. I can listen to whatever I want to, right? Yep.

Everyone else was asleep, I think. I’m not sure if Liam got in his bunk yet or not. Me and the guys were playing some game on the Xbox earlier. Lou and Cheyenne were talking at the table. So I wasn’t too sure what time everyone else went to sleep.

But I can almost assure you that Niall isn’t asleep. He and I do similar things at night, especially when we can’t sleep. He listens to music too, but sometimes you can catch him up in the back. He’ll be sitting on the couch with the lamp on, writing some personal songs that’ll probably never reach any one else’s eyes or ears for a while.

We had like seven hundred and twenty miles we had to travel to get from Vancouver to our next location, which I really wasn’t sure where it was. I planned to get to hotel as quick as we can, I don’t care what time it’ll be.

All I can figure right now is that it'll be a long 720 miles.

Well, we’ve only been on the bus for about an hour, so eleven more hours.. that’s a long time. We’ll get about noon, maybe, if we’re lucky enough.

I could swear up and down, left to right, that I just heard the toilet flush, even over the loud music. The song changes to Fetty Wap’s Trap Queen. Once again, don’t judge me. ‘Cause you don’t know me.

So, I decide to pause the music, pull the ear buds out of my ear, and pull my curtain open. I peep my head out and look towards the bathroom. Yep, the light’s on. Hey, I need something to do since I can’t sleep. So why not snoop around and be nosy?

A phone start ringing, coming from the bathroom, as I got out of my bunk. My feet hit the carpet and for some reason it sends a shiver up my spine. Okay then? That was weird..

It wasn’t long before I heard the voice I loved so much.. Cheyenne. She had answered the phone and I was being very nosy by now. I walked up to the bathroom door and leaned against the wall, listening in on her. I didn’t plan on be stalkish, just a little, ya know, sneaky.

‘’Hey mom..,’’ she says, ‘’Yeah I’m fine. You okay?’’ I listen for her response to whatever her mother says and soon it comes, ‘’Please tell me you’re not with him.. okay good… yeah I’m loving it.’’

Cheyenne’s mother is lucky to have such an amazing daughter. Cheyenne’s the perfect person. She’s kind but has every emotion any other person has. But she can just put you in a good mood, no matter what.

“Okay, mom its really late here and there, so you need to go to bed and don’t worry about me, I’m okay. Alright?’’ Cheyenne’s ability to assure you something is nice, I definitely trust her and what she says. ‘’Okay, I love you too.. bye.’’

I walk away quickly, hoping to get back to my bunk before she opened the door. But as always, I was completely stupid and didn’t realize the short time it takes to turn a door handle.

‘’Harry?’’ I hear her beautiful voice say. I turn around and smile gently as she walks up to me. ‘’it’s a little late for you to be up, now isn’t it?’’ She laughs a little. ‘’Yeah, I guess. I was going to go to the bathroom.. but you were in there.’’ I lie.

I didn’t usually like the feeling lying to some one gave me. But yet, I don’t try to fix it. I’d rather lie than let her know I was eavesdropping in on her conversation. And what hurts the most at this moment, is that she actually believes me..

‘’Oh, sorry. You can go now, I guess.’’ She says. ‘’Oh, no. Its fine. I’m good for now.’’ I say, trying not to sound so gross about my lie. ‘’Oh, you sure?’’ ‘’Yeah. Its just that I couldn’t sleep.. I needed something to occupy me, but nothing really works these days.’’ I laugh lightly.

‘’I can’t sleep either.. I dunno why though, I usually can.’’ Cheyenne mumbles to me. ‘’It hits me about once a week,’’ I tell her, ‘’But its usually the fact that I’m going to some where new again, and I’m away from home.. and all that sappy stuff.’’

‘’Definitely home for me. I can’t stand being away from my mom.. her boyfriend is.. he’s horrible to her.’’ Cheyenne sighs lightly. ‘’Is he.. like.. abusive and all?’’ I ask, not trying to get too caught up in her personal life.

‘’Yeah..’’ She nods. ‘’Was he like that.. to you?’’ I ask. ‘’No.. he wouldn’t dare touch me. But I never understood why.. why he tried to hide it from me. I wasn’t stupid.. I could hear them at night, arguing and things being shattered and broken against the walls.. that’s a part of my life I would change if I were able to do so.’’ Cheyenne tells me.

“But anyways..’’ she sighs out, ‘’I’m here if you need something to do.’’ I raise my eyebrows, a smirk growing on my face. She looks up at me and blushes, ‘’I meant talking…’’ She giggles a little.

‘’I know, I was picking.’’ I wink as she blushes a little more at me. Damn, I love it. She’s so adorable. Any guy would be lucky to call her their’s.. I’d be grateful to get to.

But it seems as if I’ll never get that chance.
