Chapter 2
Jessica’s POV
I see his hand clinch and it starts to rise and the next thing I know I’m on the ground holding my cheek I close my eyes and open them a few times. I stagger up and look at Jack, I saw the anger in his eyes, I looked away just in time to see Calum running at Jack. The next time I look at Jack, he’s on the ground being punched by Calum.
“Calum stop!” I yell but he wouldn’t stop
“Calum!” I scream trying to get him off. Everyone is staring at us now.
Just then Henry, Jack’s best friend, pulled Calum off. Once he’s off Jack, Calum turns around and walks the opposite way from me.
Calum’s POV
I finish band practice and I decide to go meet Jessica for her graduation. I knew that I would miss her getting her diploma but I could be there to congratulate her.
As I walked around I finally saw her talking to Jack, I start to walk over with some Roses but then I see Jack close his fist and hit it against Jessica’s cheek, I drop the Roses and start to sprint over.
I see Jessica struggle to stand up and look at the lowlife before looking away with tears in her eyes also looking at me for a split second. I felt my heart rip a little bit. I hate seeing my baby sister in tears. I push Jack down and start to punch.
I was only going to hit him once, but I couldn’t stop. His nose started to bleed, and then I saw his eye turning black. I could hear Jessica screaming, telling me to stop, I felt her pulling me, but I couldn’t stop. Then, I felt bigger hands and they were stronger they pulled me off. I looked over and saw a boy that must had been one of Jack’s friends.
I made my way over to the Roses I dropped and picked them up. I then walked back to Jessica who had tears streaming down her face. I handed them to her and wiped the tears away I also noticed a red mark on her face.
“Did Jack slap you, too?” I asked angrily
“No, the second confetti popper woke Dad up and he wasn’t happy” she replies
I looked down in disappointment but quickly looked up again hoping she didn’t notice. At least I had good news.
“Hey Jess, I got some good news!” I try to say cheerfully
“What is it?” she sniffles, my heart broke a little bit more thinking of what she has been through.
“5 Seconds of Summer, you know, my band?” I ask getting excited and smiling wildly
“Yeah, I think I’ve heard of them” she says playfully
“Well… We’re going on tour with One Direction!” I almost scream

So I suck, I'm bad, I know... the worst part is that I wrote this like 2 months ago, well not this chapter but I wrote for the book and I wrote it like 2 months ago and I was just afraid to post... I'M SOOOORRRRRYYYYY yeah, I might post chapter 3 tonight, if not expect updates every Sunday/Monday
