Brianna's Pov
I carried all the groceries with both my arms that were slowly losing their circulation. I had just quickly ran out for last minute groceries. Niall's coming home from tour today and I just cant wait! I bought his favorite meals and some other things to make this night special. Which I intend to do. I closed the door to the house with my foot and put all the groceries on the island and felt the feeling start to return to my arms. I let out a sigh and smiled at all the bags. I hated to cook, But I love Niall and that’s enough. I grabbed the chicken from one of the bags when I heard a slight bang. "The hell?" I slowly put down the chicken and grabbed one of the steak knifes. What if someone's here? What if it’s a crazy fan? A burglar? A killer? A million things quickly raced through my mind. The back of my neck got sweaty and I crabbed my cellphone too.
I started walking down the hallway breathing shakily, why? Why now? Why tonight? I cant die tonight. I slowed down until I stopped in my spot. What if it was just something falling? Nothing important? Then I heard it again, and I jumped my heart stopping. But this time the sound was different. It sounded like someone giggling? I raised the knife as I walked down the hallway and I noticed a shoe along the wall. It looked like Niall's I dropped the knife and let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. Oh I'm so going to kill him! I opened my mouth to yell his name, but I quickly shut it. What if I sneak up and surprise him? I smirked to myself. I bet he's in the bedroom. I tiptoed down the hallway towards the bedroom door on the right and put my ear on the door. When I looked down at the floor I noticed his other shoe. Well if he was trying to surprise me taking his shoes off in the middle of the hallway really was a bad idea…
I turned the doorknob slowly and pushed open the door without a sound. Wondering what I might see. But my mouth gaped open and I flung the door open all the way at the horrible sight. Niall jumped off the bed and Stacy looked mortified and afraid.
"Brianna I'm so sorry!" Niall yelled chasing after me, I wiped my ears and slammed the front door on his face and continued down the front steps of the house white with rage. I heard the door open and he was beside me. "Brianna please, please, hear me out PLEASE" he begged grabbing my hand. I ripped it from his grip. How could he do this to me? "How could you do this to me?" I asked tears slipping down my face. Stacy stood in front of the door. And the rage came back worse then before. "And you! You were supposed to be my best friend!" I screamed stalking up to her, she started to cry. Niall pulled me back. "No Bri, yell at me. Talk to me. Let me explain" I looked into his eyes, his glossy eyes filled with regret with sorrow and more regret. And I once again ripped myself away from him. "Okay Niall" I crossed my arms and he looked like a deer in headlights. "Explain" I snapped. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "How dare you. How dare you make out in MY home with MY best friend. How dare you ruin the spectacular evening I had planned, that I had been waiting for. How dare you throw it all away on me!" I yelled getting closer to his face. "Bri, I love you" he whispered. I glanced back up at Stacy who wouldn’t look at me. A perfectly good friendship thrown away. "No" I replied heading for my car. But Niall was connected at my hip. I went for the car handle and he spun me around and cupped my face with his hands , and before I could struggle to get away he kissed me, passionately. I froze for a second but I couldn’t resist not joining in, his lips felt soft on mine and it felt right, and our moths moved together in sync, until we broke for air. I looked in his eyes again, and I didn’t see regret or sorrow, I saw Niall. And his eyes smiled at me and he leaned in close to my ear, "I'd never kiss her like that, I’d never kiss anyone like that. Because I lover you"
