Falling For Love...

{Harry's POV}

We just talked about casual things as we walked down the street. I'm so glad I chose to walk, even though it was a little farther than I said it would be. If we took the car then I would have to include the others in our conversation. It sounded clingy and rude but I think I prefer getting to know girls by myself. When she laughed she would throw her head back and close her eyes. She loved life. You could tell. She was always so happy. In this short time we had already bonded so much. It was like we've known each other for years.

"Harry? How far now?" She asked

"Not that far now. Why? Are you tired?"

I don't know why, but I felt so protective over her. I really feel like I care.

"Well..." She said shyly, "Only a bit..."

I smiled. "We can't have that then!"

I ran behind her and picked her up bridal style.

"HARRY! PUT. ME. DOWN!" She laughed.

"NO! We have to get you to the cafe! It's an emergency!" I joked.

I started running up the street. After about 10 metres I stopped and put her down.

"Ok Katie I need you to listen carefully..."

"Yeah?"

"I want you to go over to Erin and whisper something in her ear. When you're done, come back here and jump on for a piggy-back."

"Ok. What do you want me to tell her?"

I leaned in and whispered in her ear.

{Erin's POV}

There was a bit of an awkward scilence between me and Niall. He didn't seem to be in a good mood. But NOTHING could bring me down today. I was hanging with One Direction! Katie spun round and ran over to me.

She whispered in my ear, "When I run back to Harry, Jump on Nialls back and scream this..."

I laughed at her stupidity. She was joking right? Right?... Apparently not... I mean, Niall and I don't even know each other that well... But I'm not going to let down an opportunity to make him laugh...

Katie ran back to Harry.

I shouted, "QUICK NIALL! THEY'RE GETTING AWAY!" and jumped on his back. Right on que Katie jumped up on Harry.

Oh Jesus, Im laughing WAY to hard at this. The absurdity of the situation finally brought a smile to Niall's face as he realized what was happening.

"TOO BAD WE'RE GONNA GET THERE BEFORE THEM!" He shouted back as he started running up the street.

We weren't too far behind Harry and Katie now. Suddenly we went zipping right past them. Niall was fast! We arrived at the coffee shop and he put me down, smiling.

{Niall's POV}

Wow! That was the most fun I've had in ages. I'm glad I came along today. Maybe this is what the boys and I need? A break? I'll call management later... I walked up to the counter and ordered Harry's and My standard.

"Erin? What will you and Katie want?" Katie was still outside with Harry. He's so slow!

"Umm... I'll have... Oh, I'm not sure!" She exclaimed, staring at the drinks menu."It's kinda warm so Katie will want... I don't know... Just an Iced Coffee, and I'll have and Iced Chocolate. Yeah... Sound's good."

Katie walked in with Harry behind her. I waved and they came up.

"You ordered?" Harry asked.

"Yup."

"Thanks mate! I'll go find a table!"

He chose one near the back corner and Katie followed him over. It was a little booth. Just big enough for the four of us. Erin and I went over to the table and I tried to sit next to Harry. He grabbed Katie's wrist and pulled her down next to him. He's being very forward about this. The one thing that got me is that he seems to really care about her. A giggly blonde waitress brought us our drinks, though she was soon disheartened when she realised that Harry only had eyes for Katie. When she left I asked "Do you guys want to do this again sometime?", to which I got alot of entusiatic yes's and we all exchanged numbers.

{Katie's POV}

This was the most amazing day I've ever had! AND I'm only halfway through my drink. I was using one hand to drink my Iced Coffee and my other hand was resting on the soft double seat next to Harry. I felt his large hand brush over my delicate one, eventually coming to rest on top. He squeezed my hand gently then intertwined our fingers. I was holding hands with Harry Styles. Harry Freaking Styles. My phone vibrated and a text came through from Erin. I laughed. I always laugh when I remember how her name is in my Phone. "Erin Tomlinson"

ERIN: He can't stop lookin @ u!!! ♥

I replied,

KATIE: Wut?

ERIN: HARRY! HE WON'T STOP LOOKING AT U

I blushed and I saw Erin nod from the other side of the table.

KATIE: Ur on the other side of the table. Can't u just tlk normally?

ERIN: pfft. Fine.

{Niall's POV}

Hmm... Things were getting a bit awkward. Now was probably a good time to go buy a guitar for Katie.

"Ok guys! I've gotta go pick something up. Ill be back soon. Don't leave without me!" I joked.

"Bye Niall" everyone chorused.

I walked down the street to find a guitar shop. I knew there was one here cause I had to bring my guitar in to be fixed. I found it and walked in. I had just started looking at the guitars when I got a text from Erin.

ERIN: Argh! HELP! I feel like such a third wheel!

NIALL: Aha! U should've come wit me! But outta curiosity... What r they doin?

ERIN: nothin that I know of... Just ignoring me. They r gettin to know each other better. Talkin bout themselves. BORING

I laughed and then went back to choosing a guitar. Hmm... Too many to choose from. I found a brand that I really like, that gives quality sound. I didn't want to get her a plain patterned one though. Plain just doesn't match her personality.

NIALL: Now it's ur turn t help me! What's Katie's favourite colour?

ERIN: Umm... Purple I think. Y?

NIALL: k. Thx. Im replacing her guitar.

ERIN: u dont have t do that! Her mum was gonna get her one.

NIALL: I want to cause I feel it's partly my fault.

ERIN: If u must...

I chose a beautiful purple and black guitar and asked a sales assistant to get it down for me. She's gonna love it.

ERIN: OMG! I just dropped my phone under the table and I saw Katie and Harry holding hands!!!! OMG OMG :D TOO CUTE

To be honest, this time I was happy for Harry. I mean... Earlier i was really mad... You could say jealous... That Harry had got the girl again. But this time it seems really genuine. He REALLY likes her. Different to the other girls he's "liked"... It's a shame that he's not going to be able to spend that much time with her. UNLESS I can get management to let us stay here for a little while on break...

I got out my phone and dialed the number.

"Hello?"

"Oh hey! It's Niall"

"Is there something you want?"

"Um yeah actually"

"Well? Spit it out boy!"

"I was wondering if we could Urm... take a break... If we could put the tour on hold?"

"WHAT?!? that would mean rescheduling all the dates! We can't do that"

"Cmon, the boys NEED a break. We're at the end of the line. It's not fair on us!"

"Simon did report a stirring. Is it THAT bad?"

"I swear we are so close to breaking up that its scary. I don't know. We just need time. Today was a rest day and I'm already feeling a little better. Just getting out. Please?"

"You know this means canceling dates don't you?"

"I am aware. This is between the end of a tour and the end of a band."

"It's that bad? Well ok, you guys have a month in Australia. Ill just check a few things over and It should be right. Are you sure about this?"

"Very. Thank you so much! Bye!"

They hung up without saying bye. I knew they weren't happy with the decision. I texted Harry.

NIALL: I just got us an extra month in Aussie!

After a little while, he responded,

HARRY: Really? I was gonna call management later...

NIALL: aha! I beat ya to it!

HARRY: Sweet! I hate dealing with them anyway... I just told Katie and Erin. They seem REALLY happy bout it! :D

I'm so glad Harry gets to spend more time with Katie. I really think they're gonna turn out well. It's looking good from the start. I entered the coffee shop and went over to the table, the guitar was in its case and slung over my shoulder. I put it on the table.

"Why do you have your guitar?" Katie asked.

"This isn't mine. I just bought it for you."

Katie was about to say something when Harry interrupted.

"Why?" He said angrily. I could tell he thought I was trying to win Katie. I wasn't! I just wanted to replace hers.

"Hers was broken at the signing the other day. I felt it was partly my fault so I got this to replace it."

He relaxed a little. But I knew he was on the lookout.

"Oh Niall! It wasn't your fault! You didn't have to do this!" Katie said

"I TRIED to stop him" Piped up Erin.

"Oh stop bothering about it. It's nothing" I said, tired of the fuss It was creating.

Katie opened the case.

"Oh my! It's beautiful Niall! Thank you so much!"

"Eh, no problem. It's nothin'... Soooo... What are we going to do now?"

"Well..." Harry said, turning to the girls, "Do you want to meet here, same place tomorrow?"

{Erin's POV}

We started back to the boys hotel. I can see this is going to be the beginning of an interesting holiday. I can tell Harry has feelings for Katie but she refuses to acknowledge it. She can be so FRUSTRATING at times...

I saw a couple down the road fighting. It's so sad to see a beautiful couple fight. I really feel sorry for them. I told the other guys to stop and wait for the couples argument to finish before passing by so we didn't interrupt. We all stood around watching. It was becoming a very heated argument and the woman was waving her hands around and becoming very animated while the man just stood there with his head down, taking every word she says. Katie, Harry and Niall sat down on the pavement and waited. I continued to watch. I hated this stuff, I wish I could help. The woman said something very final and walked off without looking back.

"Ok guys, lets go" I said to them.

Everyone got up and we continued walking. The man turned around and started walking towards us. When he saw us he ran up.

"Oh Shit!" I heard Niall say.

He walked up to the man and started talking to him. WHAT? what's happening? Is the guy hurt?

"No way...." Harry said then rushed over too.

"Are you right mate?" I heard one of them say.

I walked over and right there in front of me was,
