Falling For Love...

{Louis' POV}

"Louis? Why did you come?"

Desperation clung to every inch of my body. I couldn't think of anything to say. My phone started ringing. Wow, timing... I pulled my phone out and hit end, not taking my eyes of Erin, causing me to accidentally hit the play button on an open playlist.

Found myself at your door,

Just like all those times before,

I'm not sure how I got there,

I imagine you are home,

And you open your eyes into mine,

and everything feels better,

I stared at her awkwardly but I let the song play. When it got to the next bit I let it do the talking. Of all the songs... this was perfect. It described everything just right.

Right, before, your eyes,

I nodded at her to see if she got the message. I know she did. I could see it in her eyes. But the next lines were her lines... and I was guilty...

This is the last time I'm asking you this,

Put my name at the top of your list,

You break my heart in the blink of an eye,

She seemed to understand what was going on.

How I was feeling.

She stood up on her toes and kissed me on the cheek. A feeling of relief washed over me. She wasn't going to leave now. I could tell. Well... That's what I thought...

"Sorry..." She whispered, wrenching herself from my grip and running away.

Why wont she understand? Wait... oh yeah... that's exactly what she's been asking herself about me for the last three weeks or so. I ran after her as fast as I could. If she wanted to play chase then game on... I was going to win this one... I was desperate, and she is NOT taking her life...

I couldn't catch up with her. She was already at the rocky cliffs. I had lost sight of Harry and Katie.

"PLEASE!" I screamed, utter heartache taking over every inch of my body.

She looked at me from the distance. I walked the rest of the distance. I knew this was getting rediculous but I was frantic. This was do-or-die. Most heads had turned and were watching us now. There was a railing around the rocks that she had already stepped over. I climbed over them with her and held onto the railing the same way she was. The watery depths swirled beneath me.

"What are you doing?!?" She shouted over the sound of the crashing waves.

The tears streamed down both of our faces.

"Before we both die, I wanted to ask you something."

Yeah, you heard me right.

Before we both die.

She looked at me startled. She wouldn't speak though. I don't think she knew what to do. One of her hands slipped off the railing and I reached out and caught it quickly. We both had one hand on the railing and the other hand in eachothers.

"Erin? Will you be my girlfriend?"

She started crying heavily before nodding.

"Ok, We can do this. Together." I said releasing my grip from the railing and feeling myself slowly fall.
