Dad Or brother? Continued

"Briana can you come help me with making breakfast?" I heard Calum call for help. i got up and put the blanket that was covering me to the side. I walked into the kitchen to see a bowl of batter, i assume Pancake mix. He was over by the stove and was stirring some eggs and sausages together.

"What would you like me to do?" I went into the corner countertop by the stove and hopped up looking at the food he was stirring.

"well i thought i could cook an American Breakfast so um could you help and cook the pancakes?" He ask gesturing with the spoon over at the batter.

"yeah" I said getting down and bringing out the big griddle and plugged it into the countertop. As I waited for the griddle to warm up, I took out all the stuff for the table placements. The griddle beeped when it was hot, so i went and started to pour the batter and watched the pancake circles bubble as they cooked. I flipped and cooked about 30 pancakes before the batter was all done.

"Im done, What do you want me to do? I asked holding up the plate of pancakes.

"Well i just finished so i will help you get the butter and stuff out so maybe split them into two plates and put one on each side of the table. I did as followed as he did the same with the egg scramble that he had made. I went into the fridge and grabbed to sticks of butter and unwrapped them. I put them and a knife on individual dessert plates and put them by the pancakes.

"Hey guys brunch is ready" I popped my head around the corner and told everyone. Michael was playing on his phone and i think dad was on mine. But luke and Makayla were cuddling on the couch i couldn't tell.

"Okay will be right there" Dad replied getting everyone else up.

I walked over to my spot and everyone Else made their way to their own spots. We all sat down. We all took hands. I had to take hands with Dad and makayla.

" would you like to say grace?" Dad asked her.

"Oh no thanks i don't believe in god" She said like it was nothing. I looked over at luke and he was looking over at her. He had a pained look on his face. befor he saw i was looking at him.

"Um i will say it then, Dear god thank you for this food and for all the blessings you give us every day. Please help those families who are suffering and need your help. And also give us the strenght to get through the hard and challenging times. Anouther thing is please help lukes Girl friend that he loves dearly find you with the help of us" I made sure to make it super sweet .

"Amen" every one said but her.

"Well lets dig in it getting cold" Calum said geetting some eggs
