Ash’s POV
I got into bed after a long day and turned off the light. Just then my phone buzzed and I sat up to see who had sent me a message.

Calum: Hii Ash, are you ok?
Ash: Yeah I’m fine
Calum: Good to knowJ Do you perhaps by any chance have Leah’s number?
Ash: Yeah I’ll send it to you now.
Calum: Thanx bud!
Ash: It’s a pleasure

I can’t believe she told me that she loves me.


Leah’s POV
Just as I came out of the shower I heard my phone ping. I got dressed and got into bed. I picked up my phone and saw two texts, both from unknown numbers.

Luke: Hii Leah it’s Luke. Just wanna know if you’re ok…
How on earth did he get my number?
Leah: Yeah I’m fine, but how did you get my number?
Luke: Nice to know you’re ok and I got you’re number from Calum, who got you’re number from Ash.
Really is he so useless that he asked Calum to get my number from Ash?
Leah: Ok, Sorry but I gotta sleep. School tomorrow
Luke: It’s fine, I also have school.
Leah: Guess I’ll see you then
Luke: Yeah, Bye
Leah: Bye

I placed my phone on my bedside table and just then I remembered that I still had to answer the other text.

Ash: Hey Leah, I just wanted to say goodnight and I love you
Aww, that’s so sweet of him
Leah: Love you 2
I pulled my duvet up and snuggled inside, pretending that Ash was next to me.

*The next morning*
I woke up to the screaming of my alarm clock. Ugh, do I really need to go to school today?! I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen. I poured some cereal into a bowl and added the milk. I switched on the TV and sat down on the couch. A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door and stood up and walked towards it. I opened the door and there in front of me stood Ashton. “Hey” he smiled. “Hii, come in” I said as I moved for him to enter. “You just woke up?” he asked “Yeah” I blushed as I continued eating my cereal. Ash stood beside me when my mom came down. “Good morning Leah” she said with a happy tone. “Hii Ashton, sorry I didn’t see you there” she smiled. “Morning Anne” He laughed. “Aren’t you a bit early?” She asked. “Yeah kinda” he admitted. I had finished eating my cereal and started to walk towards to stairs.


Ash’s POV
“So why are you so early today?” Anne asked. What should I tell her, that I’m here because I want to hear Leah’s voice or that I’m here just to see her in her PJ’s? “I’m here cause my mom had to leave early for a meeting and she thought it would be great to wake me up early” I say uncertain. “Ashton, there’s no use to spinning me a story” she said as she glanced at me “I know you’re here for Leah, I heard when I told her yesterday that you love her” I start to blush uncontrollably. “Don’t worry I’m not the strict mom type and I think you know that” I let out a sigh of relief. “That makes it a lot easier” I say with a big smile.


Leah’s POV
I entered my room and walk towards my closet. I got out some clothes to wear and went into the bathroom. I undressed and put on the fresh pair of clothes. I brushed my teeth and went back into my bedroom. I grab my hairbrush and start to brush my hair. I wonder what are my mum and Ash talking about, cause I can hear their voices, but not their words. I comb all my hair down and start with making a French braid. When I finally reach the end I take a hairband and twist it around the end a few times. I walk over to my perfume table and put on some roll on, deodorant and perfume. I grab my phone and my bag and start walking down the stairs. When I reach the bottom I call Ashton (who is sitting in the TV room, in front of the TV) and tell him I’m ready to go. I grab my lunch from the fridge and put it into my bag. “Bye mom, See you this afternoon” I say before I kiss her on the cheek. We walked out to where Ash’s car is standing and we came to stop. “You looked really beautiful in your PJ’s” Ash said. “Thanks” I said as he held the door open for me. I jumped in and he closed the door behind me and then started to jog around to his side of the car.
When we stopped at school Ash got out and jogged around to my side to open the door. “Do you have any sport today?” ash asked “Nope and you?”I smiled. “Yeah, I kinda have football” I didn’t know that he plays football. “Cool!” I exclaimed. He just laughed and we started to walk to class.

*After school at football practice*

I’ve gotta admit, Ash looks really cute in his pair of shorts, but he isn’t the only one that caught my attention. The group of boys that is with him is also quite cute. I can see Luke, Michael and Calum. But there is 4 boys with them that I don’t know. The one boy has curly hair and amazing green orbs, the second one is quite muscular and looks like the most ‘grown up’ one, the third one has has brown hair and blue eyes and the last one I the cutest one of them all, he has blonde hair and amazing blue eyes.
“Hii, are you here with Ash?” a boys comes up to me. “Yeah” I smile “Sorry I’m so rude, I’m Zayn.” I wonder how does her know that I’m with Ash?... “Nice to meet you Zayn, I’m Leah” I say with a smile “I’m here with Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry” he says before I could say anything else. Cool so are they and Ash friends? “Are you friends with Ash?” I ask “Yeah” he replied. That makes sense.
“So who, is who” I asked unsure of myself. “The one with the blonde hair is Niall, The one with the curls is Harry, the one with the brown hair and blue eyes is Louis and the muscular one is Liam” “Thanks now I also know some of the team members” I say and somehow he found that funny. “Since when do you know Ash?” he asked. “We’ve been friends since kindergarten, but a few years something happened and we drifted apart until 2 weeks ago I wanted to strangle him with my bare hands but I forgave him after he showed up at my house to give me a lift to school.” I say and I could see Zayn was interested in what had happened between us and before he could get a word out I had cut him off “But if you wanna know what happened, it would be best if you ask Ash” I rush my words as if I’m about to get hit by the train, but the only train that’s about to hit me is the football ball and before I could react it’s too late. The last thing I heard before the ball hit me was Ash screaming.


Ash’s POV
That fucking idiot Niall, tried to score a goal, but instead he had missed the box with a metre or ten. Niall is someone that kicks fucking hard shots, but his direction is worse than the worst! “Leah!” I yell, but it’s too late the ball had already hit her full speed in the face. From where I am standing I can see Zayn helping her and that leaves me a lot more relaxed. I start to run and on my way to her Niall and I collide, leaving both of us laying on the ground in pain. “I’m a fucking idiot” Niall says to himself while we lay there. “You think” I reply to his comment.
I try standing up but my leg hurts and I fall back onto the ground. Niall also tries to stand, but he also falls back to the ground. “Calum!” I scream before Niall yells for Louis. “Yeah bro?” Calum says as he walks up to me. “I can’t stand up” I tell Calum. “Me neither and my fucking friend is too useless to even come to help me” Niall says to Calum. “What did you two idiots do?” Calum smiles “Did you two run into each other?” he smiles even bigger. “No, we got attacked by aliens, what do you think?” Niall says with sarcasm causing all three of us to burst out in laughter. “So are you going to help us or not?” I ask. “Luke!” Calum yelled and Luke came running towards us. “Yeah” he asked. “These two idiots collided and they need help standing up and I can’t help both of them up” Calum explained. Luke smiled and wrapped his arm around Niall and helped him up. Calum then wrapped his arm around me and helped me up. “Guys, is Leah ok?” I ask “Well, were about to see” Luke replies
