Pink fairy lights...
Leah’s POV
When the car stopped Harry and I made sure they couldn’t see us. Lily opened her door and then moved to the back door before opening it for Jesy. Jesy climbed out and she looked gorgeous. Lily then closed the door behind her before climbing back into the passenger’s seat. Harry and I then started running towards the car and when we reached it, we opened the door on the other side so that Jesy doesn’t see us. We jumped in and Luke then started driving away.
Jesy’s POV
Lily opened the door for me and I got out. A few seconds later I heard the car driving away, leaving me standing in the dark. I started walking towards the house and that’s when I saw the path created by candles and next to the path was rose petals. I stopped and that’s when I saw that all the lights was turned off and when I looked up at the sky I saw the stars and the moon. The rose petals looked beautiful in the candle light. I continued walking and I then opened the front door and when I opened it, I saw that the path continued and music was playing. I kept on walking and when I looked up I saw Niall standing in front of me. He looked beautiful from where I was standing. He offered me his hand and I gladly took it. He then placed a soft kiss on my hand before he walked me down the candle path which still continued until we reached the table. The table had rose petals and various candles on. He pulled my chair out for me and I sat down. I looked around me and only then did I see why the room was lit up with pink light. Between the rose petals was pink fairy lights. Niall then sat down at the opposite side of the table and offered me a glass of cooldrink. I took it and we then drank a toast. He stood up and then returned with a plate full of food. The starter was soup and when we finished it he took our plates back, only to return with another plate full of veggies and chicken. We started eating and the food was divine! When I finished I looked up and saw Niall already looking at me. I smiled and he then stood up and took our plate to the kitchen.
Niall’s POV
So far, so good. I took the desert and warmed it up before I took the caramel and spread it out on the top. I placed it in the plates before I started carrying it back to the table. When I reached the table I placed the plates on the table and then sat down. I looked at Jesy and she was already eating and enjoying it. She looked up at me and smiled.
Jesy’s POV
He placed the plate in front of me and I immediately started eating. The pudding was a chocolate cupcake with a block of chocolate pressed in at the top and covered with caramel. I looked up and saw Niall looking at me. I smiled before I stared talking. “OK, this is delicious” I said “yup” he agreed. “Well actually all the food was delicious” I said “who made it?” I asked “Leah and Calum” he answered. “Oh” I said as both of us continued eating our desert. “So what is tonight all about?” I ask when I finished eating my desert. “You’ll see” he answers before he stands up to take the plates to the kitchen. “Well everything is beautiful” I say before he disappears once again. After he disappeared, I stood up and walked in the direction of the backyard. I couldn’t see anything cause it was pitch black outside.
I stepped out on the patio and started walking in the direction of the garden, when suddenly the fairy lights in the garden turned on and when I looked up at the fence I saw ‘Will you go out with me? ~ NH’ written with blue fairy lights. I immediately placed my hands over my mouth in disbelief, not able to believe what I’m seeing at the moment. Happy tears started rolling down my cheeks and when I turned around, I saw Niall standing there waiting for my answer. “Yes” I said through my tears and he swung his arms around me as I continued crying. After a while both of us pulled out of the hug and we then entangled our fingers as we started walking towards the blanket in the garden which is surrounded by purple fairy lights. I stop to take my heels off before I sit down next to Niall.
When I sit down next to Niall he pulls another blanket over us to keep us warm. He wraps his arms around me and we sit there in perfect silence. “Thanks for tonight” I say after a while “you shouldn’t thank me, you should thank all our friends” he says “really?” I ask with a smile “Yeah like I said, Leah and Calum did the food; while Michael, Liam, Louis, Harry and I did the decorations” he said “sounds like fun” I said “Not fun, hilarious!” Niall laughed “tell me” I laughed back. “Well firstly instead of handing the flower to Leah, Calum threw it” Niall started and I immediately started laughing.
Niall’s POV
She started laughing and after a while I continued. “And then Leah drove back to her house to get some flower and while she was gone, Calum decided to clean the floor after he fell his arse off” I say and when I looked up she’s still laughing and I decide to continue. “After Leah returned Calum accidentally dropped the dishcloth on the stove and it caught fire” I say and I myself then started laughing. “And then Louis ran out of the house screaming like a girl” I say before I start laughing uncontrollably. “Sounds like you had fun” she laughs “Well then you should’ve seen Louis face when Leah told us about the time she burned the whole kitchen down” I say before I look at her. “Oh yeah, I was there with her” she then says. “SERIOUS?” I ask shocked “Yeah, she was busy making us breakfast and she accidentally dropped the oil on the cloth and it then fell on the plate” she says and she starts laughing. “OMG” I say not able to find other words. “Yeah, she’s kinda danger on two legs” Jesy laugh causing me to burst out in laughter. “But enough about Leah, let’s talk about us?” Jesy then said. “Sure” I say. “So it’s a yes?” I ask “Of course” she says as she kisses me on the cheek. We lay down and look up at the stars.
Jesy’s POV
“Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” Niall suddenly says “I don’t know and you” I say unsure “I also don’t know, but I hope it’s with you” he says and in the light and I can see cheeks turning red. “I kinda like that” I say as I rest my head on his chest.
