Butterflies...
Lily’s POV
After the funeral Leah, Harry, Louis and Liam went to Louis’s house. So I decided to leave them alone and go with Jesy. Jesy went with Niall, who went with Luke, who went with Calum, who went with Michael, but let’s just say that I went with Jesy. I still don’t know how, but somehow all of us fitted into 1 car. Originally I rode with my father, but we kinda had a fight so things aren’t smooth between us.
“Thanks a lot” I say to Jesy as we walk towards the car “It’s a pleasure” she replied. “So what was it about this time?” she asked me “you guys” I replied. “What?” she replied with confusion, but also shocked. “My father told me that I’m spending too much time with you guys and too less with him” I reply sadly “Seriously” she replied with annoyance. “Yeah, I say the same thing” I reply. “Let’s go” Jesy says as we start walking faster in the direction of the car.
On the road we decide to go to Luke’s house and we then message Leah, telling her to bring Liam, Louis and Harry over to Luke’s house. “They’re on the way” Jesy says when Leah replied to her text. “Ok, so let’s go over the plan again” Luke suggested when Niall looked at him with a fucking hilarious ‘help me I’m lost’ face. “Ok first…” Luke started and after he talked, he sent texts to all of us so that we won’t forget the plan, well actually so that Niall won’t forget the plan. We arrived at Luke’s house and Luke and I dropped Calum, Michael and Niall off. We started driving to the mall knowing it would be quite drive.
The text that Luke sent to Jesy was different than the rest and I’ll let you in on the secret by telling you why: This morning Niall came to Luke and asked him to help him out. Niall wanted to ask Jesy out, but didn’t know how to ask her. So we decided to make our own plan before leaving the house this morning. Niall, Luke and I texted everyone and told them what the plan was, but it was just with pure luck that my dad and I had a fight…
“Where are we going first?” Jesy asked interrupting my thoughts. “Ummm….”Luke and I both said as we looked at each other hoping one of us would find an answer. “Hellooo… Is someone going to answer my question” she asks after a while “Not really” we reply unsure. “Really guys?” she asked “What?” we asked keeping ourselves dumb. “Why aren’t you going to answer my question?” she sighed. “We kinda don’t know where to start” we admitted (such a lie!). “OMG!” she exclaimed causing everyone to look at us. “oops” she said blushing when she saw what she did.
Niall’s POV
Leah, Harry, Liam and Louis arrived shortly after Jesy, Luke and Lily left. “Where’s the pots!?” Leah exclaimed, not hiding that she’s panicking. “I don’t know!” I yell back and in the same breath also calling Calum, hoping he knows where it is. “Here it is” he says after a while “thanks” Leah says before she starts grabbing pots. “C’mon guys we don’t have much time!” Liam yells as he starts with the decorations. “Niall!” Harry yells “Yeah” I yell back and start running towards Harry.
Leah’s POV
“Who’s helping me?!” I yell and suddenly Calum appears next to me “thanks” I say and start directing him what to do. I place all the pots on the stove and start with the desert. “hand me the flower” I yell and a few seconds later, instead of handing it to me Calum throws it at me. “CALUM!!!” I yell cause at the moment I am looking like a ghost cause I'm covered with flower! The whole scene caused everyone in the house to look at us and to burst out in laughter. “Do you know that at the moment all the flower is on the floor?!” I say and immediately I see the ‘OMG! Not that’ look on Calum’s face. “But don’t worry, I’ll just go fetch some at my house” I say and I then see the ‘thank you’ look on his face. I run to the bathroom, not knowing where it is, but after a while I find it. When I look at myself in the mirror I start laughing uncontrollably. When I finally calm down I clean myself and go back to the kitchen.
“Harry please can I use your car, I have to go get flower at my house” I ask “Sure” he laughs as he hands me the keys. “Calum please keep an eye on the chicken and make sure the potatoes doesn’t burn, I’ll be back in a sec” I say before I run out the door. I jump into Harry’s car and start driving in the direction of my house. When I stop in front of my house I jump out and quickly run into my house, grab the flower, lock the house and jump back into the car. I start driving back to Luke’s house. I stop in front of the house and jump out after I grab the flower. I enter the house and place the flower on the table before running to Harry and giving him his keys back. I run back to the kitchen being very careful not to step on anything important.
“Ok, where were we?” I ask Calum when I come to a stop in the kitchen “Ummm… you were about to start with the desert, Oh and I cleaned the floor for you” he said in a hurry “Ok and thanks for the cleaning” I say before I start throwing the things together for desert. I quickly mix everything together and then put it in the oven to bake. I then grab the ingredients for the ‘icing’, but before I could do anything else I heard a scream. “SHITT!!!” Calum screamed causing everyone to look at him “What happened?” I yell as I struggle to keep my laugh in cause he is running in circles like a fucking idiot. “The dishcloth, I accidentally dropped it on the stove and now it’s on..ON FIRE!” he yells at me. “AAAAAAH!!” Louis yelled as he ran out of the house screaming like a girl! I open the tap and then grab the cloth off the stove and throw it under the tap almost burning my fingers. “H..H..How did you do that?” Calum stuttered when I closed the tap and threw the dishcloth in the bin. “I’m usually the one setting stuff on fire” I laugh “and Louis you can come back now!” I yell and once again causing everyone to burst out in laughter. “OH” Calum replied with a smile.
Louis came walking in with RED cheeks and came to stand next to Harry, who’s laughing is arse off. “What was that bud?” Harry said when he stopped laughing, but before you knew it he was already laughing again. “I was afraid the whole house would burn down” he said and his cheeks turned a DARKER shade of red. “Louis, that’s nothing! A few months ago I ALMOST burned down our whole house. Luckily the fire stayed in our kitchen, but when the fire department killed the fire there was NOTHING left of our kitchen” I say and as I talk I can see the hilarious looks on their faces. “And we’re still letting you cook?!” Louis exclaimed causing me to burst out in laughter.
When all of us finally stopped laughing we all ran back to our places and when I enter the kitchen the timer for the desert goes off. I grab a few dishcloths out of the closet and switched the oven off before I removed the pans out of the oven. I quickly throw the cupcakes out and then grab the chocolate blocks and then press them into the tops. I place the cupcakes on a tray and place them in a safe place to cool off. I turn around and walk to Calum to help him with the chicken and the veggies. “I’ll do the chicken” I tell him and he nods in reply before I turn the top oven off and once again use a few dishcloths to take the warn pan out of the oven. I place the chicken on the table and then turn around to close the oven. I look at Calum and he looks at me before we get the plates out and start to dish up. When we finish dishing up we place the plates in the warm oven before packing all the dishes in the washer. “Niall” I yell before I show him what to do when it’s time for desert. I start walking towards the table before my phone suddenly rings.
Leah: Hello
Lily: Hii, how are you guys doing?
Leah: Food is ready after a few hilarious incidents, but I don’t know about the guys and the decorating, but I’m on my way to check on them
Lily: Ok, well I don’t know how much longer we can keep Jesy busy, cause Luke and I are out of ideas
Leah: Ummm… I think you guys should take her clothes shopping
Lily: Yeah and?
Leah: Get something nice for tonight and make her change into it before you leave the shop, but please try to waste time
Lily: Ok
Leah: I’ll text you if you guys can come
Lily: Right, but who’s paying for the clothes?
Leah: Ummm… You and I can split it?
Lily: Sure
Leah: Ok, but I’ve gotta get back to helping
Lily: Yeah and I have to get back to keep Jesy busy
Leah: Bye
Lily: Bye
I hang up and when I look up I see the guys busy placing candles on the table and when I look at the table I see this gorgeous fairy tale table.
Lily’s POV
“C’mon Jesy this is our last stop, I promise” I say as we walk into a clothes shop “You said that when we entered the previous shop” she bites back. “C’mon” I say as I pull her towards the dresses “Why dresses?” she moans “Cause you need it” I say as I grab a few dresses and hand it to Jesy. “Go” I say as I motioned her towards the changing rooms. “Ok” she says and I can see a smile making it’s way on her face.
The first dress she tries on is a beautiful long purple dress “Ummm… maybe” Luke and I said as Jesy walked out of the changing room. “Next” Luke said and Jesy walked back into the room. A while later she came out wearing a blue dress and it wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t perfect. “Almost” Luke and I said before sending her back. Next she came out wearing a BEAUTIFUL long maxi dress with short lace sleeves. “WOW!” Luke and I both exclaim and nod telling her to take it. I quickly make my way over to the shoes and grab a pair of black high heels to go with the dress. I run back to the fitting rooms and tell her to try the shoes on. “Perfect” I say when she comes out wearing the heels. Suddenly my phone buzzes and when I unlock it, it’s a text from Leah telling me that they are ready for us.
I tell her to change back to her normal clothes before we all walk over to pay for the clothes. I then ask the lady if she can quickly use the fitting rooms to change into the clothes and she kindly agreed. After she changes we thanked the lady and then I quickly motioned Luke to keep her busy while I run to one of the salons. I ran back to where Luke and Jesy were waiting and told Jesy to come. We walked into the salon and I motioned Jesy to sit in one of the chairs while they quickly do her hair.
“Is there some sort of function that I don’t know about?” Jesy asks when they finish her hair and we walk back to the car. “Nope” I reply as I jump into the car.
Leah’s POV
I text Lily and ask her what is Jesy wearing. She replied by telling me long black maxi dress with short lace sleeves and black heels and hair done. I then dragged Niall to Luke’s room motioning him to take the clothes out that he has brought with. “Definitely black” I say as I take out a black shirt and hand it to him to put on. I grab the gel and start styling his hair before I hand him the bottle of breath spray. “You’re ready” I say before I walk out of the room, leaving him to do his own stuff.
“I’ll start lighting the candles” I say as I grab a lighter and motion Liam to start sprinkling the rose petals on the floor before I light the candles, otherwise this time we won’t be able to put out the fire. “Lights” I say to Louis telling him to kill the lights. “BEAUTIFUL!” Michael says as he returns from the bathroom. “Ok guys, Please do not step on the rose petals, step on the path created by the floor without the petals” I say before I call Niall. “WOW!” he said when he walked into the room. “Is everything out front ready?” he asks after a while “Yes, it’s perfect” Harry said as he motioned Niall to go and look “Wait” I say and Niall immediately stops. “As I said to the other guys, don’t walk on the rose petals, walk on the path crated by the floor without the petals” I say and Niall nods before walking to the outside of the house. “Thanks guys” he said before he pulled each of us in for a separate hug. When he hugged me, he gave me a soft kiss on the cheek. “It was nothing” I say.
“We’ve gotta disappear” I say to the rest of the guys before I walk over to Niall and remind him of the desert. “Good luck” I say before I run towards Harry’s car and when I reach the car, I saw that we had a BIG problem. We weren’t all going to fit in to one car. “Ok Harry and I will stay here and wait for Luke and Lily to return with Jesy while you guys wait for us at Calum house?” I suggest knowing Calum’s house is the closest to Luke’s house “Ok” the guys agreed and Harry gave the keys to Louis.
Niall’s POV
“They’re here!” Leah yells before she gives me a thumbs up and kills the lights. I can’t believe it after the long wait, everything looks perfect. I’ve gotta say that I love my friends, but I don’t like the idea that they left me standing here with butterflies
