"Feels weird meeting your parents," Harry spoke up as we walked up the path to my old house.

"Yeah, it even feels weird for me. I havent been here in forever." I gasped.

"I feel the saaammee way." My sister, Natalie, poked her head out her window.

"Natalie, you live here!" I shook my head and smiled.

"Okay, whatever. Come on in, dinner is ready." Natalie grinned down at all of us.

"FOOD!" Niall punched the air and ran up to the front door. He waited anxiously and motioned us to go faster "THE FOOD NEEDS ME, HURRY VINNIE!"

"Dude, calm your nipples." I squeezed Niall's cheek as we approached the door.

Zayn came up next to me, "You look lovely, Vinnie."

"Thanks Zayn, and you look very handsome." I rung the doorbell so it sounded like, Dun duh duh duh dun, dun, dun. So thats......7 times.

"Jesus christ Vinnie. Even doorbells make the power go to your head." My mother flung open the door and gave me a big hug.

"MOMMY!" I hugged back and pulled away. "This is, Zayn, Harry, Niall, Louis, and Liam."

"Nice to meet you all!" She ushered us forward "Come in! Come in!"

We all got into the house. Skipping basic greetings and hellos, we got right to dinner. (Much to Niall's delight)

"Pass the salt, Paul?" I nodded my head to my step dad.

"Sure, V'" He slid it down the table.

"You call your dad by his first name?" Liam asked, obviously finding it disrespectful.

"He's my stepdad," I shrugged and salted my mashed potatos.

"Wheres your dad?" Harry blurted out before he could stop himself.

"He, uhm.." I bit my lip.

"That jack ass?" My mom slammed her cup of water on the table

"Oh shit, now look what you started.." I sighed.

"That awful man, boys, took off. At some point in the night, just like that," she snapped her fingers in Louis's face "He was gone with all the money we had. You wont believe how much that man owes us. No matter, I'm glad he's no where to be found."

"Yeah, we don't need him anyway," I shrugged and motioned to Paul "I love him like a father."

"Awe, jee, thanks Vinnie." Paul squirmed happily.

"Of course," I looked over at my sister. She had gone quiet, just sitting their motionlessly.

"God, I'm so sorry," Louis looked around at my family.

"It's fine." I pushed away my plate "It helps to just say, I hate him."

"I dont hate him." Natalie looked up at me "He's our father and I love him."

"I just mea-" I started.

She cut me off and snapped "No one can replace him, he's our father , Vinnie." She stood up from the table, slamming her chair in "Paul does not even compare to our dad." She stormed away.

"Whoops, oh shit I'm sorry. I shouldnt have brought it up." Harry frowned.

"No, no." My mom shook her head tiredly "It's okay, just go talk to her, Vinnie."

"Alright," I nodded my head and went to my sister's room.

I knocked on the door "Natie? Can I come in?"

"Go away," she said, probably forgeting we dont have locks on our doors.

I walked in and sat on her bed next to her. She was hugging a pillow to her face, leaving mascara stains on it. "Hey babe." I said, pulling her into a nice, warm hug.

"Don't you miss him?" Natalie wondered pulling away, her brown eyes wet with tears.

"Of course, But if it wasnt for him, I wouldnt have learned something very special."

"Whats that?" she wiped her eyes.

"Dont dwell on the past. You cant change it, but you can choose your future." I chuckled "If you want to be a unicorn, so be it."

"I'd like to be a unicorn." She sniffled/

"Is my little unicorn hungry?"

"Yep." She stood up.

"Love you mom!" I kissed her on the cheek "Cya, Natalie, Paul!" I hugged each of them and stepped out the door where all the boys were waiting.

"You have a lovely family," Liam smiled.

"And a hot sister," Harry added.

"Shes fifteen, Harry," I shook my head.

"So?" He joked, hopping into the car.

"I dunno, It's just weird." I giggled, cathcing Louis staring at me. I turned and looked at Niall, and grinned widely. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Louis look.....angry?
