In 2014…

the year of One Direction’s Where We Are tour. Alyssa was so excited because she had been saving up her money for a whole year to finally be able to see the band in concert. Ticket sales for America opened in ten minutes and she was ready at her computer to buy her floor-seat tickets.

The time slowly ticked by and right when the tickets became available, she bought them and got them just in time before they sold out. The closest seats she could get for her money were balcony seats. But maybe they would go on a platform that rose up into the audience like they did for their last tour and Niall could actually notice her!

Meanwhile on the road…

“Okay lads, next stop on the tour is Miami!” Louis cheered.

“Ah, that glorious Florida weather.” Harry said sarcastically. It got HOT there. The boys were playing video games on the bus and Niall all of a sudden paused the game.

The others groaned and Liam asked, “Why’d you pause it, man?”

“I think that my future wife could be in an audience in this state.” Niall said.

“Oh c’mon, Ni. This again? You’ve been saying that since the tour started. Every place we’ve been you said she could be in the audience and you didn’t find her.” Zayn argued.

“Yeah every time before we’d be lifted into the audience, you would say “time to look for my princess! She’s here, I know it.” And she never was.” Louis chimed in.

“Look, I know I said that all those times, but this one just feels…different. I’m getting a vibe from Florida that she’s closer. I don’t know which city, but she’s definitely closer now.” Niall said hopefully. He started the video game up again and they continued playing.

After a few weeks…

It’s the day she’s been waiting for. The day of the 1D concert! She put on her best jeans, converse, and a crazy mofos shirt. She even did her hair as nice as she could get it. It seemed like she could never have a good hair day. She threw on some foundation, mascara and lip gloss before heading out the door.

When she got to the concert hall, she found her seat and calmly waited for the lights to go down. What felt like hours later, the lights went down, the music started, and Alyssa’s idols came out on the stage. The show was such a rush and blur, but one thing did stick out in her mind. They took a break from Midnight Memories songs and went back to the classics.

Just like Take Me Home, the boys went up on the platform for Moments. The platform was lifted up and they were coming ever so slowly towards her. What happened after that is indescribable. The guys were scanning the crowd around them and when Niall’s eyes landed on Alyssa’s, they were fixed on each other.

He even stopped singing entirely at one point because he couldn’t focus on anything but her eyes. Liam had to hit him in his arm for him to snap out of it. When they got back on the stage, she saw Niall go to a security guard and talk to him for a minute before joining the boys again. Throughout the rest of the concert, Niall continues looking up in her direction occasionally.

After the concert…

The boys were sitting in their dressing room talking about the girl Niall was so taken by during Moments. “I don’t know what happened. I saw her eyes and…something just clicked between us. I can’t explain it. It was…love at first sight. I had to make sure I met her tonight. I want to know her.”

Just then, Paul walked in with Alyssa who looked quite shocked and very nervous. “Hello, love. It’s great to meet you. What’s your name?” he asked grabbing her hand.

“It’s great to meet you too…I’m Alyssa.” She said blushing.

“The pleasure is all mine.” Niall said kissing her hand. There was a pause while the two just looked at each other.

“Hey Nialler…remember us? Your bandmates? We’d like to meet Alyssa too.” Louis said jokingly.

“Yeah….uh….you know the guys.” Niall said. She went around and hugged all of them.

“It’s great to meet all of you! I was really surprised when Paul stopped me saying you wanted me to come backstage.” Alyssa said.

“Well…I wanted to talk to you. …You really caught my eye.” Niall said looking down blushing.

“Well…we’ll leave you two alone then.” Liam said shooting an approving wink at him.

“I could talk to you all night, but I’ll only take a minute. I know we just met, but I really like you. Is it okay if I give you my number? And don’t worry I’ll pay for all roaming charges. It’s worth it if I get to talk to you.”

“Sure, you can give me your number. This is awfully nice of you, Ni.”

“It’s nothing, really. Before you go…how do you feel about long distance relationships?”

“They work if it’s with the right person.” Alyssa said winking at him.

“Well in that case, Alyssa…what’s your last name?”

“Maggio.” She chuckled.

“Alyssa Maggio, will you do me the honor of being my significant other?” he asked looking hopeful into her eyes.

“Of course I will be your significant other, Niall Horan.” She said smiling.

They were about to kiss when the boys came in and Harry said, “We’re back!” ruining the moment.

Niall glares at Harry and turns back to Alyssa saying, “Horan hug?”

“I would love one!” she said holding onto him really tight.

“I’ll walk you out.” He said getting sad.

“Okay…it was amazing meeting you all. You’re my idols.” She said before going out the door.

“I’m going to miss you so much, love.” Niall said.

“I’m going to miss you too, babe.” She replied. He pulls her in for a very long Horan hug.

Finally they let go and he said, “I’ll text you soon, okay?”

“Okay….bye Niall.” She said.

“Bye Alyssa…” he said as they slowly walked away from each other. The whole drive home, Alyssa couldn’t stop thinking about how Niall Horan was actually her boyfriend! But…who knows when she’ll see him again.
