You Are My Best Friend

Friday morning, Gram and I woke up early to clean the house and make everything perfect. I mean, it's not every day that Taylor Swift comes over to your house, right?

Around noon, we had everything ready for lunch, so I went upstairs to get ready. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, my Rolling Stones shirt, and some white Converse. As I was tying my shoes, I heard the doorbell ring. I finished up and dashed down the stairs, nearly tripping and falling down them. "They're here, Gram!", I yelled out, and then opened the door. I almost died when I saw who was there.

What was Harry Styles doing at my house? My eyes must have been bugging out of my head, because he turned around and said, "Is this the right house?". It was then that I saw that Taylor was right behind him, holding a kitty carrier. Then it hit me. This was her boyfriend. Taylor Swift was dating Harry Styles. How had I not realized this earlier??

I quickly got over my shock and invited them in. "Sorry about that earlier, I didn't know you guys were dating!", I said as I walked them to the living room. When we sat down, Taylor laughed and said, "Hey, you guys are twins!". I looked down and realized we were. We were literally wearing the exact same thing, right down to the white Converse!

I laughed, "Well, great minds think alike, don't they!". Harry laughed, and his laugh was infectious, soon we were all cracking up. Then my little kitty slinked in, and started smelling the kitty carrier Taylor had brought. She took out her cat, who was named Olivia Benson, and the two were instant friends.

We talked and watched the two cats interact, when suddenly my phone rang. I looked down and saw that it was my boss, Ally. "Sorry, but I have to take this. It's my boss", I said, apologetically. I felt horrible to leave them to talk on the phone, but, hey, it's my boss.

I answered the call. "Hey, Ally. What's up?"

"Oh, nothing much with me. How's your vacation going?", she asked. She seemed a little nervous.

"Great! You'll never guess...but, I met Taylor Swift. She and her boyfriend are actually in my living room right now!!".

"Um, that's great Skyler, but..."

"Ally? Is everything okay?"

"Skyler, I'm afraid I have some bad news..."
