Today was just another boring day down in Hell. I want to escape this place. My thoughts go back to the boy that I have been having dreams about. I have no idea why but I have find him; but I don't even know who he is!! I think back to all the people I know and knew but none jump out at me. Faces flash through my mind but none are exact match to the one I am searching for. I wander over to the portal to Earth. I just need to escape and find the owner of the face I have been seeing in my dreams. He has to be an angel. There is no way eyes can have that pure of a color. That's the one thing that just jumps out at me though all the dreams; his bright green eyes.

“Louis you better not be thinking about escaping again.” Satan says behind me.


“What if I am Devil? Would you try and stop me again or will you let me roam the Earth for a little bit you have given me every night? You know I can't stay on Earth that long even if I wanted too. Not if I want to continue existing. Can I just say I hate this stupid curse you put on me."

This little curse Devil placed on me was because I kept escaping Hell every night for hours on end. I got careless one night and got caught sneaking out. It’s not that leaving Hell is exactly forbidden, we have time where we are allowed to stretch our wings and fly at night on a set time. Every year we have one week where we can go out onto Earth. Well I would sneak out every night because I hate it down here. There is nothing really to do. Especially considering that my father is the Devil himself. He put a curse on me so that if I spent more than an hour at a time on Earth I would slowly die. I still get to go out on that one week without the curse in effect. But I will take my hour and use it to the max every night.

“Have you been sleeping at all my son? You look beyond exhausted.”

“Yeah just not much sleep been having nightmares of Heaven that's all.” I can’t tell Devil everything about the dreams he would tell me that it’s not right to be dreaming about an angel coming to save me I am the son of the Devil and I can’t change that; nor can I be saved. So I have been told countless times.

“Right and your little nightly escapes don’t help much either. Just be back in time to let the hellhounds out on a run through the kingdom.”

I take off through the portal to Earth without hearing much. I just needed to escape and feel the wind running through my black wings. I hate living in Hell. I hate that I will never find that angel I have been dreaming about. He is the one that can rescue me from hell. I feel like he is the one who can save me from myself. I can feel it in my bones, and what is left of my soul.

I heard stories of demons who become angels but they are never the same. They are half angels and half demons. Neither side wanting that person but agree to claim them as part of their own. They are the ones who roam the Earth on their own free will. They can’t live in Heaven or Hell or they die. But they are just legends amongst real legends. People believe in Heaven and Hell; which is understandable but even amongst us “legends” we have our own myths. I so wish that was me it would break me of this stupid curse.

THUD!!! I slam into something hard. I begin to fall out of the sky but then strong arms capture me and help me so I can fly on my own again. When I look to see who I ran into I am stunned speechless. It’s the boy from my dreams. His halo shining bright. His wings are such a beautiful white that the dreams don’t do them justice. He looks like a masterpiece. Before I can ask him what his name is he is blasting off leaving me falling again. This time I let myself fall. A few feet above the ground I open my wings again and land a little harder than normal.

“What an entrance there Louis. Thought you were graceful on your feet” Liam says from the shadows. Typical Liam doing all the cliche things vampires do. All but suck blood of a human. Yes even vampires exist just not all are great but I have made a friend in Liam and his boyfriend Zayn. Well they are something more than boyfriends they are soulmates. Vampires find their soulmates first try. Lucky bastards.

“Did you see the angel that ran into me? Or where he went to? Damn he had the greenest eyes that I have ever seen. What the fuck I can’t stop shaking. Do you have a cigarette I can steal off of you? I need something to chill my nerves.”

“Yeah when don’t I have one? And let me guess you don’t need a light. What angel are you talking about? All I saw was you and your oh so graceful landing.”

“Fuck off Liam. I am telling you I just saw the angel from my dreams. We literally ran into each other and I was falling to the ground and he saved me from falling. Why would an Angel from Heaven save me the son of the Devil?”

Liam just hands over the cigarette nodding along.

“How much more time you got left tonight? Yes I still remember daddy dearest putting the curse on you. And yes I am still attempting to find a way to remove the curse.” Liam asks as I try and light my cig with hell fire.



“I got a half hour before I need to be at the portal.” I say

After lighting my cigarette because I couldn’t summon my hell fire with all the shaking; Liam leaves me to my thoughts. Nothing good comes from an angel and a demon meeting in the sky. Even Liam knows that. If they meet in the sky I have only seen battle come from it. Why did this angel save me from falling to the Earth? Why did he fly away so fast? It was enough to knock me out of the sky.
Why didn’t he just...

I need to find that boy.
