*Cassie's POV*

I couldn't believe it. Why would Luke Hemmings come to school? And why isn't he making fun of me? So many questions filled my head as he passed me. Okay, either he completely lost his mind or he found someone else to make fun of. I would go with both choices.

"Baby!!" I heard someone say and I knew who it was.

It was Alexi Lake. She may be pretty and she may look smart but ew. Don't even get me started on how much of a....umm...another word to describe this..."player" she is. I think you know what I mean. I saw her go towards Luke but Luke just avoided her. Hah! She deserves that. The thought of Luke going out with Alexi disgusted me. I saw Ilene and I sighed in relief. I thought I was gonna be a loner. I still didn't get one thing. Almost everyone in this class is 18 except for me. I'm 16. Why was that? I was gonna go towards Ilene but Michael, out of nowhere, came and hugged me.

"Michael. Really? Was that necessary?" I asked and he nodded.
"Of course it was! You're my best friend!" he said and kissed my cheek, in a friendly way. Of course! I saw Ilene give me an evil eye and I quickly pulled away from Michael. He looked confused for a second but then decided to not care.
"Hey Cas." Ilene said and I smiled.
"Hiya!"
"So, have you and Luke moved on?" she asked and I rolled my eyes.
"We're only frenemies." I said and she sighed.
"Whatever. As long you guys don't go to the enemy zone, I'm fine." she said.
