What Goes Around Comes Back Around

We had been waiting outside in the car; Luke came storming out of the house. He opened the door and slammed it shut; Kara had come out running after him. A guy standing behind her. She kept on screaming Luke’s name, though Ashton had started driving as soon as Luke had closed the door.

‘well done mate’ Calum patted Luke on the shoulder.

‘she’s been playing me the whole time’ Luke said sadly

‘we tried to tell you, but you weren’t listening’

‘no you all said she was no good for me. There is a difference in being played and someone not being good enough….she used me’

‘cheer up’ Ashton grinned

‘how?’

‘let’s go partying tonight’ Calum suggested

‘we can’t’ Rose pointed out ‘no more headlines and no more mayhem remember’

‘yeah well, we have written a whole bunch of songs. So John shouldn’t complain’ Ashton concluded

‘Luke obviously needs it…let’s just sneak out!’ Calum grinned and Rose nodded. I just sat there quietly, humming something.

‘catchy tune Wills’ Rose giggled nodding her head along ‘frustration, desperation, say you need some kind of medication. I’m in need for a permanent vacation. Hey, I’m doing fine; I know I’m out of line, so I say this one more time. It goes destination; permanent vacation’

‘not bad Rose’ Ashton cheered, joining filling in words of his own ‘na na, na na na na’ even Luke and Calum joined in the na na parts.

We fooled around a bit more, trying to cheer up Luke. Even though he joined in, he wasn’t acting like the Luke I knew. It soon our little fun moment died down and it went quiet in the car. I stared out of the window wondering what had happened inside that house. Did I really want to know? Were they done? Where were Luke and I standing now?

‘so we are escaping tonight?’ Calum asked breaking the silence

‘I’m in’ Rose chirped

‘I’m in’ Ashton nodded, taking a turn and ending up in front of the hotel.

‘I’ll go’ Luke shrugged ‘only…’

‘only what?’ Rose asked

‘only if Willow goes’

‘urgh, you know I don’t like to party and I started to hate it even more the last time we went out as a group’

‘this time I promise you Kara, Farrah and holly won’t cause trouble’ Luke said, turning around to look at me shooting me a pleading look.

‘I’ll think about it’

‘Grinch’ Rose whispered only for me to hear

‘fine I’ll go’ I nodded

‘YAY’ they all cheered, we climbed out of the car and Ashton handed over the keys to the valet guy. We entered the hotel and waited for the elevator, going up to our floor.

‘let’s go over a few more songs, before bothering John, to show him we have been busy’ I said nervously

‘good thinking batman’ Luke spoke, grabbing my shoulders and squeezed them a bit ‘he won’t suspect anything if we would all sneak out’

They all made their way to the boy’s room; it was the one with the most space anyway. I halted and Luke grabbed my hand to drag me along.

‘I’ll be right there, I need to go get something out of my room’ I said

‘alright’ Ashton, Calum and Rose said, walking further down the hall.

‘what’s wrong Wills?’

‘I need to get my notebook’ I said

‘alright, I’ll see you in a bit then’ he winked at me, before placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.

We parted and I entered my room, I grabbed my notebook and my phone started ringing, John was calling. I looked at the screen again a little confused, I decided not to pick up, but make my way over to his hotel suite. I knocked on the door and it creaked open, even though it crept my out I entered.

‘hello?’

‘Willow?’

‘yeah, are you alright?’ I asked worried

‘I am, come in please’ John spoke, sounding rather excited. It was something different for a change as over the past few days I only had met with the angry businessman John.

‘what is it?’ I asked when I entered his living room space.

‘sit down, please. I have a proposition for you’ he said
