What Goes Around Comes Back Around

‘Where were you?’ Luke rushed over hugging me tightly. I just stood there, holding my notebook and just confused.

‘you have some explaining to do young lady’ Rose spoke tapping her foot on the floor

‘alright mother’ I said sarcastically, trying to get out of Luke’s grip

‘we were all really worried’ Rose shook her head

‘well sorry, I forgot my phone and I don’t really feel like talking to all of you…so if you don’t mind’

‘are you alright?’ Calum asked, wrapping an arm around Rose

‘yeah I’m fine, I’m not hurt, I’m perfectly fine’ I nodded ‘I’m going back to the hotel if you don’t mind’

‘we’ll come with you’ Luke said, he pulled out his phone and dialled a number ‘yeah we have found her or she has found us…whatever…we’re going back to the hotel now…alright see you in a bit’

‘where have you been all day?’ Rose asked, walking next to me

‘an old friend’ I half whispered

‘you didn’t to bother to call any of us?’

‘sorry my mind was a little occupied with hating on someone who touches other people’s belongings’

‘I’m sorry Wills’ Luke said from behind us

‘yeah whatever’

‘could you two just stop bickering…it’s doing my head in already’ Calum protested ‘we have a job to do…remember?’

‘we only have 5 days to finish four complete songs, we can’t have you two arguing with one another’ Rose said, backing up Calum on his bickering statement.

The minute we entered the hotel, we headed up to our floor. The elevator doors opened and John stood there arms crossed and completely unamused. He pointed at Luke and I, making us follow him, no words, just hand gestures. This could never be any good. He led us into his hotel room and made a gesture for us to sit down.

‘you two are a pain in the ass you know that right?’ John started

‘if you say so, it must be true’ I shrugged

‘enough with the attitude’ John snapped ‘I said you two had to sort out your differences and here I am hearing other things. Willow I will give you your final warning, make this work or you and your friends are out’

‘but…’ Luke started

‘you Luke…you need to make up your mind. I get the bipolar characteristics and it is all because of you. Sort it out, write some kickass tunes with each other and go your own ways again. Can’t be that hard now can it?’

‘no’ Luke and I both shook our heads

‘get lost and go to your rooms…you will in groups from tomorrow on. I’ll text you the place and with whom you’ll be writing’ John said and we both stood up and nodded ‘now get out, I need my beauty rest instead of my stress rest’

Luke giggled and walked away, I just followed his steps. The minute we got out of the hotel room, he pinned me against the wall. His face close to mine, so much for personal space Hemmings. His hands rested on the wall on either side of my head.

‘Wills, we will make this work if you like it or not. Just give in and end the struggle’ Luke breathed on my face

‘with a cuddle right? No thanks’ I shook my head

‘stop resisting to what is so obvious’ Luke said

‘I’ll probably see you tomorrow…goodnight Luke’ I said, ducking under his arms and rushed to my room. Before I could open it, Luke grabbed my wrist, pulling me back into his chest.

‘Amnesia was about you and so was the scribbled bit in your notebook’ Luke said tapping his fingers on the leather cover I was still holding.

‘so I heard’ I nodded ‘what do you want me to say? Geez, thanks for writing about me…Luke you don’t like me, you like Kara and we have to work together. So let’s pretend we made up, do our jobs and go back to ignoring one another’ his grip on my wrist loosened and I opened the door to my room, slamming the door shut.

My back slid down against the door and soon three heads appeared looking at me. Their arms crossed and slightly pissed off looks told me that Peyton, Rose and Sapphire were not happy with me disappearing. Like Luke wasn’t enough to handle.
