What Goes Around Comes Back Around

For a while we discussed bits and pieces of the song I’ve written. Parts the boys didn’t like as much, changing it to something else or even adding stuff to it. Michael and I both were strumming a synchronized tune on our guitars.

‘sounds so awesome’ Rose squealed when we finished up the tune

‘one of new favourites’ Calum nodded his headed, looking down at the papers in front of him. The scribbled handwriting, barely readable, I laughed.

‘Saph you really have to re-write all of that, because none of us will be able to read it’ Peyton stated the obvious

‘I will, but I really want to go to the beach, so not now’ Saph whined playfully

‘and we shall go’ Michael spoke jumping up to his feet. Motioning for the lads to come along

‘meet downstairs in the lobby in fifteen minutes?’ Ashton asked and all of us nodded ‘see you in a bit’

The lads left us and we each went into our own room to gather our stuff. I decided on putting on my pink and pineapple printed bikini. I slipped back into some shorts and put on a loose t-shirt and my black flip-flops. I placed a large towel and some sunscreen into a bag, before walking out.

None of the girls were done yet and I placed the bag near the door. I grabbed my pockets to see if my phone was in one of them, I walked back into my room and grabbed my phone from my bed, taking my iPod and headphones with me as well. You never know when they were to come in handy. I sat down on the couch and put on my headphones.

I smiled when I heard the familiar song by Shawn Mendes. I wrote “imagination” alongside him, though his whole album felt like a personal one to me, but this song brought back a lot of bad and painful memories. “a feeling I just can’t describe. All this time you spent alone” my lips moved to the words being sang. “In my dreams, you’re with me. We’ll be everything I want us to be”. It took me back to when I still was mad at Luke, but a part of me still wanted to be with him. I jumped a little when I felt a tap on my shoulder; I placed my headphones down resting them on my shoulders.

‘come on dreamy’ Rose giggled

‘yeah, yeah’ I nodded, getting up and grabbed my bag.

‘thinking again?’

‘sort of’ I said

‘Luke’

‘yep, but not by choice’ I sighed frustrated

‘what happened?’

‘not feeling like sharing right now’ I said ‘where Peyton and Saph?’

‘already downstairs, hitting on two boys’

‘more like innocent flirting’ I corrected

‘yeah whatever’ Rose huffed a little

‘why the annoyance?’

‘we are here to do our jobs, not flirt with boys’

‘it’s innocent; nothing bad could come from it. No-one is hurt or getting hurt’ I defended the girl’s behaviour.

The elevator ride down went in complete silence, the doors opened and we were instantly greeted by the rest of our group.

‘so since we are with the eight of us, we won’t fit in one car. We are taking two cars’

‘yeah fine we have our own car anyway’ Rose smiled, I followed her eyes and she kept staring at Calum. So much for not flirting herself, I rolled my eyes a bit.

‘it’s rude to roll your eyes in public’ Luke whispered in my ear

‘get lost’ I whispered back

‘let’s go guys…’ Ashton jumped up and down happily ‘...and ladies of course’

We walked outside and Peyton and Sapphire joined with Ashton and Michael. It took me a minute to realize what was going on. We were splitting up boys and girls, but there was no way I was getting in a car with Luke. Call me a little baby or a spoiled brat, but would you?

‘P, can you swap with me?’ I yelled after them

‘no can do’ she shrugged and giggled. Great, just freaking great. They were getting into our Toyota as the door was opened to a big black SUV, with tinted windows.

‘get in Wills’ Luke smirked. Urgh, I wanted to wipe that smirk of his face right there.

‘don’t call me that’ I snapped, climbing into the car.

‘pumpkin better?’ he teased

‘just shut up asshole’

‘children, children, play nice or you are both grounded’ Calum warned looking backwards in the back mirror.

‘stay out of it’ Luke and I spoke at the same time. Though I was a little more annoyed than Luke was, it seemed like a joke to him. He knew exactly which buttons to push to set me off.

I pulled my headphones back onto my ears; I couldn’t help it and fell asleep. To be shaken awake when we arrived at the beach.

‘wake up sleepy’ Luke smiled up at me

‘where are the others?’

‘already settling on a spot’ he answered, he offered his hand to help me out, but I pushed it aside, jumping out.

‘I can take care of myself Luke’ I spat

‘the attitude doesn’t suit you Wills’

‘didn’t I tell you to not call me that?’

‘you did, but I decided to ignore your wishes’

‘you might regret it sooner or later’

‘or else?’ he whispered and one arm grabbed my waist, pulling me into his side.

‘let me go’ I tried pushing him away.

‘no can do’

‘why are you even here? Doesn’t Kara get jealous when you hang out with me?’

‘she does, but reminiscing about old times has never been so much fun?’

‘reminiscing? You annoy the crap out of me Luke, I wouldn’t call that reminiscing’

‘I do’ his smug smile was telling me he was planning something. With that he picked me up and I started screaming on top of my lungs. He ran towards the water, my flip-flops were lost halfway on the beach. My bag dropped not much after that and I felt my headphones sliding off my neck.

‘LUKE I HAVE MY IPOD, IPHONE AND HEADPHONES ON ME…DON’T YOU FREAKING DARE DROP ME IN THE WATER’ I yelled as I kept on hitting his back. He kept on moving ‘LET ME GO ASSHOLE…LET GO!!!!’ without any warning he dropped me on the sand and everyone was laughing, but me.

I stood up and wiped of the sand from my clothes and stomped into the direction where my bag and flip-flops were. I looked up in Luke’s blue eyes; it looked like they were apologizing to me. A little too late asswipe, I rolled my eyes at him.

‘lighten up babe’ Luke yelled after me, causing me to flip him off without looking back. This was going to be one afternoon with him being here.
