Fanfic Plot Holes and Dumb Moments

Ok, so this is the one that popped into my brain first. We have all read those fan fics about One Direction sneak attacking and kidnapping a girl from the streets. Some times it's their plan, sometimes it's a spur of the moment thing I guess.

Because when I sense someone's in danger, I take them against their will(notice the sarcasm). GURL she obviously don't want your help if you have to drug her.

The ones where they are saving her make no sense. This is basically what goes down:

Obnoxious Girl(OG): Why did you kidnap me? (Good question to ask when you have been kidnapped because the answer will most definetly be logical and true right?)

Boys(B): We didn't kidnap you, we were saving you from (usually a mob of fans or something)

OG: Ok cool here is all my personal information/tragic backstory

****5 minutes later******
1 Boy: Wait we can't take her back! We will get in trouble for Kidnap!

GURL! Literally you just said it wasn't kidnap. Also if you were "saving her life", WOULDNT THAT BE GOOD PUBLICITY. YOU WOULD BE FREAKING HEROES. But Nope. Alright. It's cool. She'll have kissed at least 4 of you in about 3 chapters anyway.
