Everlasting Love (An AU Fanfiction)
Chapter Three
S A M
I had spent an agonizing, brain-numbing forty-five minutes in Lit class trying make sense of what happened. Is he like me? Does he see auras too? Does he read minds? No. He couldn't possibly. So far, I know I'm the only one who can read minds and see auras. But how does that explain that thought which popped in my head? Just forget about. Its not worth my time to fret about it.
I stopped by my locker and twirled my fingers around the lock to the numbers coded inside my brain. It unlocked instantly and easily. I began getting my necessary utensils for my next class, when a familiar black head came bouncing next to me.
"Hey," Violet said dragging out the 'E'. Violet and I instantly became friends when I moved here. She was different from most people here but that didn't stop her from wanting to be like the people here. Violet has went through numerous phases. Three months ago, she wanted to be a ballerina because she overheard someone talking about their lessons and stuff. Now she's... gothic? I don't know.
"Hey, Vi," I replied back closing my locker and walking to the East hall.
As we were talking, Cassandra comes from behind us and knocks Violet over making her and her books collapse to the ground. Cassandra and her posse snickers.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Why can't she just leave me and my friends alone.
"You were in my way," She says with a snarky smile and steps over Violet, with her two followers, and walks down the hall.
I bend down and lift Vi up by her hand and grab her books. "Are you okay?" I ask her sincerely while handing her books back.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I don't understand why she has to be a bitch to everyone though," but I do.
Cassandra lives in a prestigious household. Her mother's an RN at the hospital, which is one of the top hospitals in the country by the way, and her father just made partner at a big law firm here. I kind of pity her. She has to live up to her parent's expectations, if not, she's seen as a disappointment.
Vi and I came into our Chemistry class. Then I noticed him. That Zayn guy from earlier. He was sitting in a separate lab table next to us. He looked back at me, only me, and gave me a seductive smile. I just turned around and followed Vi to our seats.
"Who's the hottie?" She said, eyes larger than normal.
He was still looking over here. I connected my eyes with his. "Nobody."
Wow. Dude you have a very creative brain. I love this story.
